The staff is friendly and the room has been prepared well as requested. The location is strategic so there is no need for public transportation to get to tourist attractions. The distance to the station is also still within walking distance while looking at unique shops along the way.

In terms of the location of the hotel and the size of the room, it is considered standard. The size of the room is comfortable, suitable for a family of 4 people to relax. But the most important thing is the quality of the hotel staff, which is excellent. We forgot the expensive shopping items at the hotel. The hotel kept them neatly and safely. We contacted the hotel and kept the items until the day we returned. We stopped by the hotel to pick them up. Thank you for the excellent service and care. I would like to give more than 5 stars.

Love the hotel. One block from the canal and one block from the shopping street. There’s an onsen in the hotel but it could get crowded at certain times. Overall, love the hotel and can’t wait to be back.

My room was on the 2nd floor, i kept hearing some noise from the 1st floor, sounds like a door is keep opening and closing.
The staff was great, my son left a backpack in the room, the staff email me and hold the bag for us. Thank you for your help.

It was a perfectly reasonable Japanese hotel. The breakfast was better than many but just a 3 out of 5. Our previous two hotels had much more variety (but breakfast also cost more at them). The food was fine but after three days you got tired of basically the same menu. They seemed to have two slightly different menus that alternated. Most items were the same but a few switched back and forth.
Typical Japanese pillow. Each bed had two. One normal, reasonably comfortable, and one “bwan” filled with padding on top. Mattress was typical Japanese firm. The comforter we great. The rooms were a bit small (with suitcases etc) but serviceable. Nautical decor was nice.
I’d stay again if in Otaru.

We only stayed in Otaru for one night, but we would definitely stay here again. Hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. We got there early so they held our luggage for us and delivered it to our room while we were out. They even gave us umbrellas to use when they realized we didn’t have one. There is a Family Mart, shops, and places to eat within walking distance of the hotel. Bonus, they also have 2 washer/dryer machines and an ice machine on the second floor.

Clean and spacious room! The hotel was in an ideal location and within great proximity of the train station, post office, museums, the canal, bus depot, restaurants and shopping. Enjoyed their breakfast buffet with many options as well.
