This hotel was truly something special! Spotlessly clean, great friendly service, free sake and beer in the evenings, and a very tasty breakfast too. Location in Takayama’s old town couldn’t have been better. A real highlight of my trip so far

Amazing hotel in a great location close to the old town, morning market and Sake shops. The room was big and had everything we needed. Hotel also had free drinks from 5pm and breakfast service which was an incredible traditional Japanese breakfast. Hotel had a spa room and also accepts tattoos. Highly recommend and would stay again!

We loved this hotel! Beautiful! Room was great. Free saki bar at night was fun. Right in the middle of the charming old town. Also, walk over and make reservations at the burger place right behind the hotel - delicious!! We would do a little shopping then swing back to the hotel, then head back out. Family Mart was right next door for snacks and drinks. It was a great stay.
