After 3 weeks in Japan, it was really nice to get an oat milk latte and a delicious western style breakfast downstairs. Also really liked the view of the sky view tower from the 15th floor terrace which is free for guests to use. Staying here is 1 stop or a $7 cab ride from the nippori station which is what you use to take the Narita Express train to the airport.

Lovely place. Confortable and calm. Close to station and easy access to visit several neighbour hoods. Loved Yanaka.

The hotel is near the JR Yamanote Line, Uguisudani Station. Even though you have to drag your luggage down the hill, there is an elevator. I booked a connecting room and liked it very much. But it's a pity that you can't close the door between the rooms. It's suitable for families or friends. The hotel allows you to check in from the moment you arrive (08:30) and leave your luggage to go out. There are 2 bottles of drinking water per room every day. The towels are changed every day. When it's check-out day, you can leave your luggage first. Overall, I like it very much. Next time, I will probably come back to stay here again if the price is not too high.

Pros:
- breakfast included with the stay is quite good
- able to store bags after checkout for a later flight
- a few good local food spots nearby
Cons:
- the rooms are not very clean, bathroom is visibly dirty and the floors/tv/walls/ceilings are very dusty
- bathroom is smaller than a cruise ship bathroom, this is the 5th hotel we stayed in in Japan so we were expecting it to be small but this was next level tiny
- shared public spaces in the hotel are visibly worn down, paint chipping, stained and ripped furniture etc
Overall not a bad stay, just not as trendy and clean as the photos online make it appear

A great place to stay. Near a station that can take us to all the major places, plenty of food, grocery stores and convenient stores. The staff was helpful and accommodating as well. The room and washroom is small, but the charm to itself.

The property was conveniently located near a station to catch subway. Every single staff encountered was helpful, kind and always professional! I love that you get everything you could possibly need including pajamas! Loved this hotel! Rooms are very cozy but it was just me so it worked! Would definitely book again upon my return!

Very convenient close to train station. Quiet and clean. The only thing is breakfast you can only choose a small bowl of rice or 1 piece of bread, very small portion. Other egg, sausage etc are plenty. But we prefer more carb.

Convenient short walking distance from the Uguisudani station, easy to spot.
Small room but expected as in Tokyo. Not 24hr reception. I check out early just leave key at counter - would have preferred they have a dedicated drop key slot.
Short walk to Ueno Park & Station. Saw full cherry blossom Apr 8 there.

We stayed one night and glad we weren't staying longer. Room was nice, spacious enough for Tokyo. Bathroom very cramped, could have been a little bigger as entry way to the room was bigger than bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful. However, the room felt overpriced for what it was as we stayed in nicer bigger hotels for similar price in central Tokyo.

This place was amazing! You have a 5 min walk to the trains and a 10-15 minute walk to Ueno Park! It was cute, clean, and easily accessible. Staff was amazing. Rooms were small but did the job! The coffee bar was an added plus! Also you have 7-11 right around the corner!

Good hotel close walking distance to subway, convenience stores, restaurants, markets, and tourist attractions such as Sensoji temple and Ueno park). The breakfast that was included was nice although it was the same thing every morning (a little variety would be better) and could get very busy with line ups during the peak hours. The biggest complaint, although this seems to be quite common in Tokyo is that the rooms were very small and you barely have any space to move around or put your luggage or belongings

Located near Uguisudani Station on the Yamanote Line. Great clean, minimal hotel rooms with breakfast. If you’re heading to Narita, this is one station away from Nipporo Station where you can take the Skyliner.

Recently stayed for 13 nights. Everything and everyone was excellent. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly and most importantly, helpful.
The cafe and restaurant was also a great part of my stay.
The room I was in (one bed) was also great!
No complaints from me! I look forward to staying here again! I’ll definitely be recommending Landabout Tokyo to my friends and family!
