Nagoya Prince Hotel Sky Tower

The hotel is 15min walk from the main Nagoya JR station (restaurants, department stores etc).

I stayed at Nagoya Prince Hotel Sky Tower for 4 nights on the top floor. The stay overall was pleasant — the breakfast was great, and the club lounge was beautiful. The facilities are excellent, and the views from the top floor are stunning. Location was not that great. However, I was disappointed by the service. While most staff were polite, the handling of a small issue left a bad impression. I accidentally took a cable charger and realized it as soon as I landed in another country. I immediately admitted my mistake and offered to pay for it, which would have been the simplest solution. Instead, the staff member (Nagai) insisted that I ship it back at my own expense. This was very inconvenient, especially since I travel frequently and don’t have time to go to the post office, and the shipping cost would end up being more than the cable charger itself. When I shared my feedback, hoping for some flexibility, the responses felt abrupt and rigid, with no acknowledgment of my concerns. At the end, I was even told “we hope you visit again,” which felt out of touch given the situation. I understand it was my mistake, but I wish the staff had shown more flexibility and customer care. For a hotel of this class, I expected service that adapts to the situation rather than following rules so mechanically. Great facilities and food, but service did not meet the same standard. Would not recommend.

On top of the world room. Views were spectacular. Staff were super friendly the rooms were modern. Easy access to Nagoya Station and lots of dining options.

The staff here were amazing, English was a bit hit or miss but that’s to be expected. They were always attentive and eager to help, Grade A customer service! The bed was a bit rigid for my liking but it was huge, and the overall room was huge with an amazing view. Having a nice big shower area and tub that you could actually fill to the top and soak in was icing on the cake. Would highly recommend the place. Mildly difficult to get in and out of since it starts on the 31st floor for the lobby and rooms above that. Parking was minimal but I always found a spot. We did the buffet one night, recommend having a reservation as we didn’t get the best seats but they took us in and the food was very delicious and all encompassing. Very convenient to family mart, Starbucks, Saizeriya (very cheap delicious Italian) and McDonald’s among other sit down restaurants.

The breakfast restaurant is located on the lobby floor on 31/F. The view is great that you can see the nagoya station and bullet train.There is a lot of choices of food and drink, including the mini version of nagoya famous dishes, grilled eel rice, miso katsu, toast with red bean and cream. The room facilities are good, separate toilet, washbasin and shower/bath room. However, there isn't any hook or rack for placing towel or clothes inside the shower/bath room. Other than this, I can feel the hotel service is very attentive. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was very nice with a great view of Nagoya.

Tolle Zimmer mit atemberaubender Aussicht. Zimmer für japanische Verhältnisse sehr groß. Super Frühstücksbuffet, mit allen Spezialitäten aus Nagoya. Gute Zuganbindung 200 Meter entfernt, eine Station bis zum Hauptbahnhof Nagoya.

The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The only downside was that there was just one restaurant, and the dinner offerings were just average. But overall, I was very satisfied with my stay.

About 25mins walk from Nagoya. Staiton. Nice contemporary design room and Nice city view On the negative points are that the restaurant is only a buffet, there are no restaurants near by .

The view from our room was great, the food is excellent. Really enjoyed the club lounge.
