Shinnishiki Hotel

Great hotel at a really affordable rate with a fantastic location across the street from the beach. Staff is generous with using the shower facilities after a day at the beach with other hotels don't do. Would rather stay here than any of the name brand hotels any day.

Friendly staff and unbeatable location—right across from both the beach and a FamilyMart. Handy extras like beach toys, sandals, and small towels available. You can also rent an umbrella if you're planning to lounge.

The staff were very friendly and could communicate in simple English as well as Mandarin. The hotel was also very clean and basic items were provided (shampoo, body soap, toothbrush). The only issue I had was not being able to control the temperature of the water for bathing (but I wasn't able to ask the staff for help as there are only staff at the concierge at specific timings). Overall still a great stay, especially because it is near to the beach and dining options (and supermarket)!

Everything about this hotel was perfect for me. Steps from a gorgeous beach, clean room, quiet, lovely customer service, great price!

Great location right on Shirahama Beach. Clean and functional Hotel for a great stay in Wakayama.

The owner was very kind. The breakfast was AWESOME so if you’d like a Japanese breakfast I’d say it’s worth it!

Tidy and clean, Cantonese speaking support staff, great spot for nearby sightseeing point.

We chose this hotel as it was at a very good price compared with the expensive offerings nearby in Shirahama. The hotel is across the road from Shirahama beach and a public onsen. The owner was very friendly and gave us good tips on where to explore. Hotel was very clean and adequate for our needs, good wifi and laundry facilities. There is no onsen onsite but there are a few public paid ones around Shirahama. We didn't eat in the hotel as there are a few places nearby which provided good food (Seafood BBQ @ ToreTore Market!). Overall, a very decent hotel!

Facility is clean and well organized. Staff always providing assistance regardless of the language barrier! We basically had the entire hotel for ourselves and found the rooms clean and sufficiently met our needs including the use of the shared bathroom. No competition for these facilities. Only item missing is a microwave for convenient use in the lounge And a smoke free area in the lobby as the smell was very present Ken

Hotel is convenient to the beach and many attractions. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We had a comfortable stay despite being a big family with 2 young kids. Definitely will stay here again if we happen to come back to shirahama

Si vous arrivez avant 15h vous ne trouverez personne à l'acceuil et dans l'hôtel. Malgré mes protestations le gérant de l'hôtel dit que c'est normal... Et à partir de 19h jusqu'à 7h du matin personne non plus ! Sinon la Chambre était grande avec une belle vue sur la mer. Pas d'eau en bouteille ou fontaine.

遅くにチェックインになってしまいバイク置き場もなかったのにスタッフさんが屋根のあるバイク置き場を作ってくれて助かりました。洗濯機も500円で使わせてくれてありがとうございました。

大きな部屋を用意していただきましたが、エアコンが小さく、部屋全体が冷えず暑かったのが残念ですが、海外サイズになっていて良かった点が多かったです。

スタッフの方がとても親切でした。
