Confortable and convenient for public transport, restaurants and shopping

The room was incredibly dirty. It was a large room which was nice but it stank of smoke, there was wallpaper and paint peeling off the walls, three walls and ceiling were stained, and the carpet looked like it had never been cleaned. The breakfast was good and you can’t beat the location!

Great hotel near the Asahikawa Station and the Aeon Mall, which was convenient for the Asahikawa Snow Festival (or would have been if I hadn't booked the week before the festival :-) ). The hotel is also, extremely conveniently, in front of a bus stop that comes straight from the airport. Simply stay on the bus until the stop after the station and step into the hotel. For Japan, the size of the twin room is _massive!_ Plenty of room for luggage, clothes storage, and potentially cricket practice (please don't play cricket in your hotel room :-) ). The raised bathroom is, however, the standard 'small' size for a Japanese hotel room, but is perfectly servicable. There's plenty of food options nearby with the main shopping street only a block away (which leads off from the train station), and the Aeon Mall's food court and restaurants are a five minute walk away.

In a convenient location with malls, convenient stores and eateries nearby. Room was a bit small but that is not unusual for japan. Room was a bit dated but clean. Corridors and lifts had some smoking smell but the non smoking room I stayed in was fine. Will require payment for parking at a nearby place just down the block - I paid about 750 yen per night (will need to pick up car by 10am after checkout). I didn't realise this as I thought it was a daily rate and so left my car in a bit later while I had breakfast.. The hotel staff was very nice to try to help me negotiate with the parking center and offered to pay my parking extension. It was just a small amount and I offered to pay it on my own but the hotel staff insisted on covering it as that point was not communicated to me clearly which they felt was their responsibility. Great service!

Breakfast is simple and room is small. Its good budget hotel. Easy access to places of interest for those who drive. 24hrs parking for 600 yen. Many shops and restaurants nearby.

A utilitarian hotel, with relatively small rooms, that is located near the JR station and shopping mall.

Location was great. Hotel is near shopping street and major train and buses. Facilities are old and limited. Good for budget travellers

The hotel was splendid for the price. It's really close to the station and the mall which was great and there's a Lawson nearby. The bus to Kamui Ski Resort also stops right outside the hotel which was super convenient. It was a little outdated but it was still great.

Breakfast is a joke - most definitely not worth the money the breakfast-included package charges. It’s the WORST breakfast I have ever had in my entire travel life. The option was so limited to bread, milk and 2-3 types of simple salad only - I can get better food with that additional payment in any convenient stores. It’s very disappointing and I’m surprised this is still operational in today’s Japanese Standard.

The location of this hotel was great. It was right by all the nightlife, malls, and the station. The room was quite large compared to other Japanese hotels I've been to. There was a nice roomy closet and a spacious entryway and a nice big mirror. Also the bed was super comfy. The breakfast was buffet style and pretty good. Even though the location of the hotel was great, it was a little difficult to find and I had walked right past it when I was looking for it. The entrance is not very obvious and only a vertical flag sign amidst many others alerts you to it. On the card they give you with the room key, they say you have to leave your room key, which is an actual key, not a card, at the front desk whenever you leave. It also says you have to leave your valuables with the front desk too. So that was a little disconcerting, but you get what you pay for. Even though it also says no smoking in the rooms, my room had the stale smell of cigarettes. I can't hold that against the hotel though if someone had disobeyed the rules. The bathroom was small and the light was dim. In the morning, there was a beeping from the next room. I think the previous person to stay in that room had set an alarm on the bed clock and it hadn't been reset. The sound wasn't that loud, really, but it was a little annoying.

Generally it is a very comfortable hotel. The room is spacious and can accommodate 3 of us. The hotel is not far from JR station. Just walk along the Aeon building and cross the road. Next turn left and then turn right. Walk pass Premier Cabin Hotel and then cross the road. The hotel is to the left.
