Great hotel. Great personel. Highly recommended

Great hotel and good location just off the beaten path, but if you are walkers, then this place is for you. :15-:20 minutes to anywhere. Lawsons convenience store right next store with wonderful snacks and food. People who run hotel are very kind. Wish there was a breakfast option available to those that didn't sign up. Also, we didn't know that our kids had to sleep on futon mattresses on the floor. They had horrible sleep. Wish it was the room with the photo. Also, the BEST shower and water pressure I have EVER had!

We had a great stay at the Tassel. Loved the happy hour and the shower was amazing. Helpful kind staff as well. Would stay again

A fabulous hotel. Really helpful staff, comfy beds. Evening perk, free alcohol and snacks in the lounge! Only downside? Not. Enough drawer space but that might be standard in Japanese hotel. Would definitely return and recommend

Hotel is in perfect condition and very comfortable and clean. Quiet and in perfect location. Staff is very friendly.

Modern and boutique feeling hotel- lovely, great corner room, incredibly comfortable bedding. Convenient location next to subway line but not directly in the Kyoto center bustle. Hotel directly abuts picturesque stream.

I stayed here with my wife and toddler in late April. The hotel was wonderful and the staff so friendly. They even put on some free drinks for us in the evenings which was amazing. The hotel is in a good location, modern, clean, and is a decent size. We really enjoyed it.

Brand new property with excellent rooms and nathrooms, 10-15 on foot from town center.

We stayed here for 4 nights while visiting Kyoto for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The service here was fantastic - we arrived a few hours before check in and dropped our bags off and when we returned to check in the bags had been taken to our room. Check in was really smooth and speedy too! The room itself was spotless and had everything you needed for an enjoyable stay - including a very comfortable bed! The shower has to be the best one I’ve ever used in a hotel - it felt like you were in a spa and the toiletries were really high quality too! The lobby area was really modern and the hotel offered free drinks and snacks for a couple of hours every night which was the perfect chance to relax after a day of exploring! The location was really good too! I would highly recommend a stay here - I would definitely return when visiting Kyoto again 10/10

Felt too costly just for sleeping one night 31000¥ is too costly. No breakfast all other facilities are good since it’s newly opened hotel. It’s located just outside of higashiyama station near to small river

This hotel is amazing! The room was very nice, and they make a great experience for travellers in the reception area. It’s walkable distance to a lot of sightseeing areas, and otherwise had a metro station and bus stops next door that can take you anywhere. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay again!

お風呂場に髪の毛が落ちていて、少しガッカリしました。お部屋は比較的過ごしやすかったです。びっくりしたのは、スマホを充電しようとコンセントに充電器を挿したら充電出来ず慌てました。色々なコンセントに挿して試しても出来ず、困りました。最終的には出来ましたが．．．

部屋は広くとても清潔で、快適に過ごせました。お風呂が広かったのも嬉しかったです。ラウンジでのティー、バーのサービスも楽しめました。元旦には美味しいお雑煮におせちもいただけて、ホスピタリティに感動しました。
