The Sorapia Tokyo

Clean, bright, quiet. We stayed here three nights and then were supposed to go elsewhere but we decided against it and booked another three night in this same building since the area is grea and the building was so well maintained.

Clean property, laundry and a kitchen included, with a small balcony and big room to stay. A little bit far from the train station, almost 10 min walking the staff is not going to clean the house during your stay because it is basically a property, not treated as a hotel. Instructions to how to turn the lights, tv, ac, dryer are in a separate manual that you need to read because everything is in Japanese. So confusing. The toilet is separate from the bath on a second room.

The view was gorgeous. It was SO FAR from any station (there were two) and to get there was a series of twists and turns, so much that i STILL had to use google maps to find my way after a week! The location was a few minutes from a 7-11, so that was nice to have. It was a nice secure apartment, with a washer (no dryer, but there is a balcony with clothes rack), microwave, stove, sink, a large full bed and a pull out twin bed. I had 2 children, so one actually opted to sleep "in the closet" on a futon mat they had. It was a tight squeeze, but it was definitely liveable. The biggest issue we had was the garbage. Our garbage filled up and we had no garbage bags or anything we could do with it (we are told not to take it out). We didn't contact them about it (it felt weird sending a message to ask them to take our garbage out), so I guess that's on us. Pro: clean, had a great view, all the amenties we needed. Con: SO FAR from the station. Not enough places to put garbage. REALLY FAR from the station. The hotel was far off the map from places we ended up wanting to see, so it took a long train ride to get to sightseeing places.

In the middle of a residential area. The building stands in a small street. The building itself is not up kept and it maintained during the day. There was a flood left on the first floor for the duration of our stay. False advertisement by the property itself. It says sleeps four, it was all a lie. One travel companion had to sleep in the closet and nothing was done by the host and or Expedia. We were told we booked a non smoking room with two twins (bed and futon). The location is not ideal for most of the stay since the closest station is roughly a 10 mins walk, but since it is an airport line, it will cost a whole lot more to travel around Tokyo. It states that Haneda Airport is roughly a 20 mins drive but which is not true. Also there was a weird odour in the apartment as if something is rotting.

The bed and futon were reasonably comfortable and the kitchen was fine as well. We stayed for five days and since there was no broom, dustpan, or vacuum, the place started to get a little dusty. It would be very very helpful for there to be at least a broom to keep the floors clean. The neighbourhood is quiet and about a 20 minute walk to the subway, which is right beside the Tokyo Skytree. To get to Shinjuku or Shibuya or even the market at Tsukiji takes a while because of the walk from the hotel to the subway and the distance from the city centre. Overall, it was a comfortable and relatively affordable place to stay in Tokyo, with the Skytree and Senso-ji within walking distance.

It ia an amazing cozy place to stay. Very quiet and friendly neighborhood.

Stay was good. Rooms are clean, easily accessible. But the problem is the kitchen utensils were not clean. Other than that everything was perfect. Thank you.

It was fantastic for a family with 2 children. There were many towels, duvets; also iron and ironing board, washing powder, dish soap. Big bottles of shampoo, hair conditioner, bodywash. I brought everything unnecessarily. It is not that far from the metro stations, a quiet residential area with markets on your way to the hotel. The best part is we watched the fireworks festival from the hotel. It was fantastic. Thank you very much for such a nice, new, quiet and clean place.

I was there for 9 days. They refuse to take the garbage out.

Very nice small apartment hotel, clean and well equipped. I can thoroughly recommend this as an excellent place to stay. I will book again with no hesitation. The only down side is that it is 9 minutes walk away from the metro which is an issue if you are coming with suitcases. You can come by bus but that is not totally easy in Tokyo for foreigners.

Nice stay very close and convenient. The hotel held our bags so we could explore prior to check in so that was fabulous

Modern property Comfy beds.. Very far from station (11m walk) and from central Tokyo (35m from Hikifune). Was cleaned but was still a bit dusty when we got there. They don't provide slippers, so bring some. If staying for more than 2 nights, it would be good if they could leave a dustpan and brush of some kind, but there isn't any provided.

This hotel is small but very clean. We love walking on the small streets around the area.

The room was very clean and spacious. It has a washer and hangers to dry. Also, it provided many blankets and pillows.

We enjoyed the security throughout the complex. It was very modern and more than we expected. The room was nice and cozy, with a fabulous view on the balcony. The shower room was the best!

I really enjoyed my stay. The room was perfect in every which way, the neighborhood was lovely. I would stay there again and again and again.

The room is good. But I think this place little bit far from the station.

Im the one who supposed to be upset of your service because u were not responsible of your job. They didnt throw the trash since the first day we came in till we checked out, second ur room smell so bad especially the washing machine area! We have to open the window to let the air flow and its so cold outside! They didnt put enough tissue for us too! and also u didnt replace the shampoo and soap. We did email u for our complain though but no replied. We are so disappointed of your services!

This place was really adorable !! It was clean and had everything we needed. It was very affordable and in a nice quiet neighborhood.

It was a clean place. Not quite close to the subways but it’s not too far to walk (personally), still wish it was closer. Around our 5th night we had noisy neighbours above and it kept going even until 2am. Stopped after 3-4 nights later. All cooking utensils and laundry was there at our disposal. Didn’t have toothbrush/paste but we brought those already. Good place to be overall. Only downside is the distance from the stations (and the neighbours were misfortunate).
