One of the cleanest places I've been to. Very comfortable stay except the pillow compresses into a sheet so a bit rough for side sleeping.

Friendly staff, the one who assisted us at check-in speaking excellent English. Super clean, smallish but comfortable room - no English Tv channels unfortunately, and compact but nice bathroom with great hot water. Beds firm, but to our liking. Only heard occasional noise , and not very loud at that, from other guests. Loved the breakfasts, which varied day to day, but was surprised from an environmental point of view that polystyrene trays were used in lieu of plates. Also breakfast finished at 9am which was too early. Location wise was perfect, within walking distance of Senso-ji Temple and Ueno Park, and close to Kuramae, Asakusa, and Asakusabashi stations. Also plenty of convenience stores and restaurants fairly close by. Would definitely stay again, if ever in Tokyo.

Smaller rooms, but laid out well, it worked. Japan is probably the only country in the world where you can be truly satisfied with a 3 Star hotel, very clean, A/C, full bathroom etc the only thing missing is a closet, but it still worked. Subway station, convenient stores and restaurants are jut a few minutes away. Decent breakfast with menu changing daily. Highly recommended!

Asakusa ended up being a great spot to stay during our Tokyo trip. The hotel is steps away from a subway line which was so nice since we already did plenty of walking throughout our stay there. Free buffet breakfast was decent. Room was very small so would recommend using a smaller or top-open suitcase rather than a clamshell. The pillows were a bit odd and flat here so we asked for extras and they only allowed us one - that was the only weird thing! Check in and check out were swift and easy.
