Near everything. Close to shops, restaurants.

The hotel is convenient for the sights but the rooms are tiny and the beds and pillows are super uncomfortable

Great stay! Tub and shower room had a sewer smell off and on.

Staff was very accommodating, always smiles and polite.

Property has seen better days. Virtually no staff present and is starting to look dirty and old. Proximity to attractions is fine and if all you want is a bed to sleep at night then this will do fine.

Not the greatest stay of our holiday, loud traffic noise till early hours too

It was a good location. Small as all hotels in Japan, but it was clean. The only issue was the laundry, the dryer did not work and the clothes were all wet.

Convenient to transportation

The hotel was nice, but a little less space than we are used to. Staff were very friendly and helpful upon arrival. The road outside the hotel is busy, so cab be noisy at night time, especially when groups of motorbikes drive past revving the engine. Overall a good start, and the location is convenient for metro and trains. Very hot in July during our stay, so not ideal for moving around.

Convenient and Safe, comfortable room accomodation for the 4 of us (adults), there is washer and dryer, we transferred our luggages to our Tokyo Hotel through them. Lots of dining option nearby, walkable. Accessible Taxi and Uber going around. 15-20 min taxi ride to Train station when we went side trip to Kyoto.

We are a family of 5 and found the space to be comfortable for us. The kids enjoyed the welcome refreshments, the two televisions that connected to our Netflix accounts and we liked the proximity to the Namba Station and Dotonbori, an area full of shops, restaurants and the river cruise. We had been traveling Japan for two weeks before our arrival and most hotels held our luggage until check-in for free. This hotel was charging us 500 yen per luggage. We found it hard to get a good nights sleep. Our room faced the main street and the street noise kept us up. The pillows were not comfortable at all. I think what prevented us from giving it a better review was the smell in the room. It had a musty order. Every time we would enter the room, we were greeted by that musty spell. It would have also been nice to have the AC on when we arrived to our room. We entered the room after checking in and found the room to be unbearably hot. It took a while for the AC to kick in.

Location was decent. Coffee machine in lobby not available for use in morning which is when most people want it. Was able to get large room to accommodate our large family, which was nice. Each bed (bunk) had lamp and plug-in available although not the most comfortable mattress/ pillows.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and diverse. They helped us with cash exchange and were very open in allowing us to stay in the lobby while we waited for our check in time. Additionally, there was a free beverage bar from 3-10 PM. The rooms were nice and the bathroom was very nice and clean — water was really hot but never became an issue. The hotel is situated in a really good area that makes walking / commuting to popular tourist destinations a breeze. Con’s: The odour in the hotel was questionable during peak hours — dirty laundry and garbage bags piled up in the hallways. There wasn’t a consistent garbage pick up system throughout the day to make sure garbage never piled up. Furthermore, the pillows are made of hard beads which was difficult to sleep on — felt like sleeping on a rock throughout the night.

Convenient

The place was okay, it was way too small to accommodate 4 people. It was though to move around within the room. The beds were VERY uncomfortable and hard, is why I gave them a 3 star rating; after walking over 20,000 a day, is definitely not the way to end the day… all of us woke up with back and shoulder pain. Not sure if they truly cleaned the room as they should have since we found used socks from previous guests while we were making sure we didn’t leave anything behind.

Love the hotel, clean and family friendly

Room too small for family of 4. Not much of services provided because it was mostly self-service. Location was near Namba which was good and convenient
