The careless of the staff is incredibile the simply don t care about you or your needs, the 2 lady at the front desk just chatting between them and surf up on the net for their personal shopping. Breakfast is serve cold as standard coffe never replace even if i asked twice to the waiter. The room are big but rundown , dust everywhere , the window looked like a halloween decor , a bit too early for it. Toilet large but not hot water i waited about 20 min hoping would heat up , but never happened. WiFi doesn t work at all not a chance to have decent connection. They make the profit with the visa runner from Thailand so they don t care about their guest. Grand inn or Continental hotel are few blocks away and their provide nice room with nice smiling staff who doesn t spend their duty time eating or polish their nails.

I love this place
Been here many times. Not the best by a long shot but the rooms are clean, beds are awesome. I enjoy the buffet breakfast and dinner. I use it when i need to extend my visa and the service they supply is excellent.

Parking of hotel vans
Competitive prices along Chulia street as tourists seeks for hotels...from a three star to budget rooms. Though along this busy road...Is there NO parking lots of hotel vans..( persiaran lots)...or do drivers prefer to PARKED HOTEL VANS at Penang road bus stops..ANYTIME or OVERNIGHT...blocking businesess as well as for those waiting for RAPIDPENANG buses? By checking into this hotel..a simple walk along this busy street..one could have access to nearby shopping..eateries...places of interests...or book a van from the hotel for a sight seeing tour.

Possible the worst hotel EVER!!!!
Firstly I'll start by saying I read the reviews on TripAdvisor and they all rang true...... My story, I got picked up by transfer taxi (not real friendly), then I arrived at hotel to a not so friendly, in actual fact rude reception lady. She Checked my passport, gave me the key and said your room is on the left side!!!! No showing me where the room is, that would've been way to hard!!! CHOOSE ANOTHER HOTEL TO DO YOUR VISA RUN, WATCH OUT FOR THE DISHONEST VISA MAN, VERY BAD!!!!! BOOK ANOTHER HOTEL!!!! The room was very run down, no hot water in the shower and not that clean.....the only good thing was the good central location. The Wi-Fi was non existent in the room, you had to sit under the router to get reception. Breakfast was horrible, Staff couldn't even smile and say good morning, I got to the restaurant at 7.45am (Breakfast is served 7.30am), everything was presented in stainless steel Bain maries, here's a tip for the hotel, turn the Bain maries on, it helps keep everything warm, hence the food was cold!!!! Stay away and look for other options!!!

One of the Cheapest and Worst Hotel in Penang
For VisaRun, we arrived here last May 15 at around 8 in the morning. We are ask to take our bfast first and the food is in buffet and got ur choices from bread down to fruit as dessert. Selection are many but it was not hot anymore and refill of other items are not replenish. Got loss of appetite because it was just typical fry and not so special. We waited for more long hour before checking -in our own room. Mine was quite took a long time because they say they are still cleaning. When one room was make-up they handed me the key which is not the room supposedly written on the paper. I immidiately went to my room and check all the amenities inside which includes complimentary bottled water, coffee and creamers, one small soap woth one small bath shower gel and shampoo installed in the wall like hand dispenser and what's worst tissue was not replenish and seems being used by the first guest and splash of water all around. During lunch and dinner I eat outside. And on the next day same items for breakfast and was not so good... And by 10am they ask us to check-out already made to wait outside for almost 4 hours before our service arrives. Bottomline: Food not good, Service not good, Employees not friendly as well!
