As the name implies, this is heritage conservation house. The building is made of wood and is quite traditional. My single room book can be on the floor. 2. I happened to be carrying a large luggage, fortunately there was a friendly hotel staff who wanted to help me to raise and lower the suitcase. because everything is made of wood, I can hear all the sounds, from the conversation in the lower lobby, the door is closed and opened by other guests. My neighbor's room was not careful when opening and closing the door, making me wake up at night. There were also guests who had just come home at 2pm, ringing the bell downstairs, all sounding very clear. In fact, I could hear a neighbor next to my room dropping something. Finally I couldn't sleep all night. The rooms are clean enough but yes, please remember this old house, of course there is a distinctive smell of old houses. Room facilities all go well, aircon, and fan, hot water. The location of this hotel is very good. Really in the center of the crowd and can walk to tourist areas.

It was a pleasure stay at Cintra Heritage House. It was a beautiful old-colonial building. Everything was good and it was not really common to have breakfast included and private bathroom for backpacker in Georgetown so those were great value for this place. The hosts were really nice and helpful! Location is great! You can get to Komtar in 10 minutes by walking and other bus stops at the adjacent street.

Lovely heritage house in the old town of George Town, near to many restaurants, street hawker stalls and bus stop just around the corner. Unfortunately rooms are not sound proof. Breakfast was good.

I was stay in the ground floor. But my room is really near to the road. It supposed to be the exit door but they made it as a room. I cannot sleep if I didn't bought an ear plug. But the room is spacious. It's really near to go to mural wall, the famous dimsum resto and the other tourist places by walking.

The hotel was good for the price. The owner at check in said it would be ok to have breakfast at 7:30 (half an hour before) as I was leaving early. When I went downstairs he wasn't there. Only his front desk staff who is a lovely guy, very attentive (and was working when I got there at 4pm until 8am next morning when I left.) Lady owner was horrible to him, she treated him badly in front of me (a customer). The room was ok, AC didn't work but I didn't mind as I used as a fan. The AC from next room was very loud. It was ok for 1 night.

it was a very pleasant stay. the staffs were very helpful and attentive, especially peter. he gave lots of information about penang, esp. the food market and attractions.. how to get here and there. I got free upgrade from single to double room, so it was a great deal that time... even maybe best. the room itself was spacious and clean. cool ac, warm duvet. I slept like a baby. the en-suite bathroom is kind of unique. it was decorated in big square black & white tiles, delivered the feeling of being in a colonial lodg e.. which is funny as it is located in peranakan area. but that's what maybe is. the influence of he western (british) to the peranakan house. one thing I didn't see is shampoo. I didn't ask to the front desk as I brought my own. breakfast was made a la minute to meet my need. warm and nice. thanks to cintra heritage house. it was truly a memorable stay.
