According to historical records, Bagan Datoh first opened around 1880 by Tok Miller, while the town of Bagan Datoh was opened in 1896. At that time, it was known as Sungai Keling and some call it by the name of New Town. By Car
If you are driving from Kuala Lumpur you can go via highway Guthrie straight to Kuala Selangor followed by tanjung Karang, Sabak Bernam, Hutan Melintang and you reach Bagan Datoh. The journey takes 2 hour and 45 minutes driving. You also can go via North-South Expressway where it takes 2 hour and 51 minutes driving.
By Bus
Besides that you can take bus from Kuala Lumpur Hentian Duta to Teluk Intan bus terminal. When arrived you may take taxi to Bagan Datoh where it takes 39 minutes from Teluk Intan.
By Train
You can take ETS train from Kl sentral to Tapah Road.From Tapah you can take taxi to reach Bagan Datoh where it takes approximately 1 hour and 12 minutes to reach Bagan Datoh.
