Big room, nice view. Just when first getting the room, we're given 'not yet cleaned' room. So we complain, and they gave us upgraded room with bunch of fruits because of inconvenient experience. So we will grade this hotel 5-starred professional service. Very nice staff.
All is well except for their work performance at the lobby. Too slow and only one reception can do the job. Suggest the others reception to have more training sessions so the guests won’t be waiting too long for check in and out.
Great room. Wish their toilet bidet worked better.
I was there for one night. While waiting to be checked in, the hotel seems a bit "aged". Still rather clean. The Front office staffs need to learn customer service skills and etiquette!Imagine my sister approaching the counter for check in to be greeted by the attending staff with a. "Wait ah. I am doing something first" whats that? And that being said with no eye contact and condescending tone! I myself witnessed as well, when getting an extra keycard, the attending staff seemed uninterested and was chatting away with a colleague! This should never be done in front of a paying guest! I was a hotelier myself. And have been in the hospitality/customer service industry to know that. Broken glass found behind the room safe, (This was discovered by my 7 years old daughter). Shouldn't housekeeping have ensured such hazardous things were removed/cleaned for safety reasons? I was charged RM100 for an extra bed which does not come with free breakfast. Their lounge seemed a bit sad as well. I was there on a Saturday night. No band? Or Pianist ? I guess I chose the wrong location. Will I return? What do you think?
Need to improve on the check-in time.
My favorite hotel in Kuala Lumpur. Everything was great except there was an electrical issue which occurred twice causing the whole floor to lose electricity.
Overall was great but breakfast need to be more veggie-friendly
Good hotel with comfortable. The room I stayed is eastin deluxe. There were stains on the bed sheet and the night owl menu was not available since no one picked up my call at 3am. Overall, it was great.

Good service but rooms in need of refurbishment
Several years back I used to stay at Eastin frequently. While the service was generally very good, the rooms feel quite worn and are in need of a refurbishment, especially the bathrooms. From my past stays I remembered the quality of the food in the three restaurants to be very good, however this time I felt it was average. I only recommend Eastin Hotel to business travellers who want to be close to PJ area. It is a 20 to 30 minutes taxi ride to go to KLCC area. I also noticed that Eastin now seems to be popular with package tour groups. While I understand the need for an out-of-town hotel to fill their rooms, the tour groups were a bit noisy and rowdy at times. Especially the breakfast area and lobby often felt crowded, with luggage put all over the place. On the plus side, the staff are always very friendly and helpful.

Top shelf!
Working away from home is never easy but my stay at The Eastin PJ certainly helps. This was my second visit to the hotel and although the rooms are in need of a makeover and freshen up, the food, service, staff and location are wonderful. I make particular mention of the huge selection of local and western food on offer at the breakfast and delicious room service options available. The food & beverage team are nothing short of excellent with their bright smiles and happy approach to their guests. Also worthy of mention is the front desk team. These are the guys and girls who take the full force of guest issues and I saw them dealing with a couple of unhappy guests with courtesy and a willingness to listen (unlike the guests). :) Then there was Michelle. The tiny pocket dynamo who seemed to be on hand every time I ventured through the lobby. Always greeting myself and the guests with a smile and bringing happiness to guests and visitors day and night. If ever there was an example of genuine Customer Service, Michelle is it. A true gem. Thank you for making my stay always so warm and welcoming. I look forward to my next visit.

Good reception
Been to Eastin regularly and always receive good welcome from Mr.Anderson and Mr.Dinendren. All the check ins and check outs were handled nicely . Rooms are nicely taken care. Great facilities especially the gym and beautiful swimming pool.

Highly recommend for Biz trip
On my early arrival, the room was not ready however the reception staff was very kind and he suggested me to have early lunch while he get my room ready. While I was having my meal on the 2nd floor restaurant, to my surprise, the reception staff, Mr Dinendra came up to the restaurant to hand over the room key to me! I was very pleased with his great service! Not only Mr Dinendra other staff on the reception and also restaurant are very friendly and room is spacious and clean. This is my 2nd stay in this hotel and I will be coming back for the next trip for sure!

I would highly recommend my stay at the Eastin Hotel. As a large group, we stay at the hotel every year for work related purposes and are never disappointed. The food is always fresh and prepared, cooked and presented to our high level of expectations . But what makes my stay the stand out feature is the warm, wonderful and welcoming nature of all the staff especially the front counter staffer Michelle. On check in she was helpful, friendly and always acknowledged me by name when I passed through reception. Such a delightful young lady. Thank you staff and management and look forward to seeing you all next year
