Sooooo noisy
Nice rooms (we had the superior one). It is located at the front and unbelievable noisy mostly from battery charged cycles. Maybe other rooms are acceptable but this one certainly not worth the price. Breakfast nice and location fine.

Good location, small rooms
On a moment's notice we decided to visit Melaka and were able to book a superior room at a fantastic rate. The hotel is in a great location, only minutes to the famous Jonker street and right next to the river (though not overlooking it as some of the reviews here suggest). The staff were friendly and helpful. The only drawbacks were that the superior room was far too small for two people and the breakfast buffet was limited.

Nice hotel with great location
Very satisfied with this heritage hotel, located within effortless walking distance to Jonker Walk and Stadhuys. Staffs are helpful, especially Saiful who arrange us to room on upper floor for quieter and private environment. Thank you and will come back again.

Clean and nice
A great choice for a weekend stay in Melacca! Although the rooms are a little small the hotel is very clean and tastefully decorated. We stayed in a deluxe king room at the second floor. Breakfast was served in the lobby and everything was fresh and delicious. Really kind and helpful staff. I'd especially like to say a big Thank you to Saiful who was very nice and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel for its good location too, just a minute walk to Jonker street

overrated and over priced
Lets start with the Pro: Excellent location Cons: 1. extremely small rooms, you can't event walk around the bed 2. overpriced for what they offer and similar historic properties in the neighbourhood offer 3. Ridiculous extra charges for e.g., they keep 2 tea bags in the room, if you need extra instead of coffee than they will charge as much as a whole box of tea bags 4. Even though our booking clearly said vegetarian guests in the group, there was NO vegetarian at the buffet and the breakfast staff was quiet abrupt about it 5. We arrived from KL about 2 hours earlier due to our transport reaching faster than normal. They had no guests staying in the rooms allocated to us but still did not let us check in until 2 hours later. Our old parents had to walk around in the market in the extreme heat before they were allowed to go to their rooms 6. Terrible breakfast and non-existent wifi 7. Our rooms were right next to housekeeping so we had interested chit chat noises throughout our stay we would not recommend you stay here, there are plenty of other boutique hotels in historic properties in the vicinity. we regretted booking this place and than walking around to see what we could have gotten for that money.
