Poorly maintained - need renovation
Pro: Location is pretty strategic, you can easily find shops and restaurants nearby as it is located in the city center. Cons: Stayed here around August this year and the maintenance of the rooms were very poor. Dust are everywhere, the bathroom feels as if you are staying in an old house, no proper shower and hot water, even the water supply is scarce. They are using the wrong bed sheet and it doesn't cover the whole mattress, you can feel the brown sponge at the end of your feet. Overall, they need a new mattress, new blanket, new TV, basically everything new. It looks decent on the outside, but pretty disappointing inside.

Budget hotel- good
Located city centre along the busy Jalan Pantai n next to Gaya Street.Rooms at rm69.00 to rm90.00 Old but clean n comfy. Nice staff n helpful .TV is old n not clear but we are in KK to visit the sites n shopping, no time for TV, old aircond n slightly noisy but cool. Clean but old toilet. Taxi stand beside the hotel, expensive so, call Uber. Many restaurants around.KFC n burger king behind the hotel.Filipino market 10 minutes walk n the new Sabah Suria mall 8 minutes walk.Strictly for budget travellers, not recommended for family.

Value for Money
For the price and location and the overall presentation, this is the best deal you can get. The only downside of this is their toilet which looks rather old and not maintained, our toilet flush handle is replaced with an old rusty metal like hook instead of the proper one. Other than that, pleasant experience. One of the best value deal if wanted to stay near jetty

Value for Money!
68MYR for an overnight stay in a private room with bathroom is really a value for money! Stayed here last March 20-21 , 2016 and I have found my stay just ok as it is centrally located at the heart of Kota Kinabalu and just a few steps away from Gaya Street! There are a lot of fast food chains around so you won't find yourself starving or craving for any food from Chinese, Malaysian or even Indonesian variants! I didn't like the smell inside and even the interior, it looks old and the television channel was very limited. Too bad they didn't have wi-fi connection!

Dirty room
I didn't book the hotel before back to KK after climb mt.Kinabalu. So I was pretty tired and walked in to this hotel. It was a mistake. The room seemed not to be clean for a while. Air conditioner was filthy, lot of dust. Don't even talk about bathroom, there was still used tissue in the toilet. Wifi is available only at the lobby, still be usable at second floor. One night is enough. The good things are staff and location.
