Very Good

Great hotel, great location in the heart of the city, the only thing less is no toothbrush in the room
Room is spacious and comfortable. Service is excellent. Unfortunately did not have the chance to try out your hotel meal. Hope to try your restaurant food on my next visit. Thank you for a pleasant stay at Hotel caPITOL.
I lost my son white shirt in our own room. Reacts only on 2nd complaints which has been passed 3 days. thanks to 2nd guy in FO handled asap. No good communication between FO and house keeping. in the end, shirt not found.
The location is good. Easy to find restaurant
Good overall but carpet needs to be changed
The room is clean and good, the WiFi it's good too but the receptionist was not friendly enough to answer my questions.
Quick check in, clean enough, my demand for connecting door is fulfilled. Excellent! Room, corridor between lift and rooms are smelly especially cigarette smell. Hotel should be smoke free zone. Breakfast menu should be added/more variety. Current menu is limited and quite boring.
Location was great but the bed's condition were less comfortable which was shaky / bouncy maybe already used for many years. And I think it should be changed. Beside bed's condition all is good.
Location is nearby from the center of bukit bintang. Fast check in procedures but the breakfast was not too much variety and not tasty.
Good hotel but not new room I hope this hotel can change the view room be good next time

OK, but they need to take care of that mold
This hotel is a 20-floor building located in the heart of Bukit Bintang. I stayed three nights and got a daily rate of 40 usd a night. This was the cheapest rate available and my room was on the fifth floor. The positives: I found the location great as it is near many shopping venues, numerous restaurants and the monorail. The staff were friendly. The room was equipped with an iron and a safe. The beds were a little soft but the pillows and sheets looked new and very clean. The negatives: The shower door was very moldy (see picture). This was the only real problem during my stay. Some of the other guests complained of loud music, so there must be a nightclub or two nearby, but it never bothered me. There was the smell of cigarette smoke from a nearby room, but this problem was solved when I closed the bathroom door. I didn't try the breakfast because there were so many food options in the neighborhood and i had also read from previous reviews that the breakfast wasn't very good at the hotel. It cost 24 ringgit at the time of my visit (July 2017).

Excellent Value
Very comfortable, well located hotel with friendly staff. Room was comfortable and we had good views of both the KL Tower and the Petronas Tower. We were on the eighth floor in a corner room. It was clean and comfortable and breakfast was good with a good selection.

Excellent location and staff but that's about it!
First impressions were, where in the world have we been dumped? There was a lot of construction work going on and the nearby shops and bars were pretty much in the gutter. But we headed in to the reception where the staff were very polite, there was no assistance with suitcases though. The rooms and hotel in general is looking tired and needs a bit of TLC, looks nothing like the photos on the website. The room and bathroom were clean, but not spotless. Superb power shower, nearly pinned me to the back wall!😆 Heading out into KL, is where this hotel imho, excels. We asked the staff where to go, how to get there etc, and they always had an immediate answer, produced a local tourist map, showing best routes, transportation and probable cost. However, many things are within walking distance of the hotel, particularly bars, restaurants and street food. Breakfast wasn't spectacular, all local dishes, consisting of rice and noodles. There is an egg counter, which is a take it or leave it counter, not an order to taste. Failing that, there is still cereal, fruit and coffee. About KL, be prepared to spend £5+ on a beer, average main course meal for 4 is £30 on the street. Transport, 3RM for the metro, pink buses are free. Hop on hop off works out £15pp for 24hrs, bus stop is a 400m walk from hotel.

Centrally located, but nothing else...
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, booked through a holiday package from the UK. We were on a bed-and-breakfast basis but gave up on having breakfast at the hotel after our first day because it was too crowded. We (the 5 of us) had to squeeze at 2 small tables among other guests and the dining area was simply too cramped to cater to the surge of guests during the days we were there (which happened to be public holiday in Malaysia - the Hari Raya Aidilfitri). It made the whole dining experience very uncomfortable and there was not enough food to go around. Besides this unpleasant experience, we knew the hotel is not a five-star one before we arrived, so we had not expected too much in terms of the comfort of the room and facilities. Although we had a room with a nice view of the Petronas Towers, we feel that the Management could improve on the standard of the rooms' cleanliness, and remove all the moulds along the grout of the tiles in the bathrooms. Our room also smelt of smoke, although it was supposed to be a non-smoking one. Otherwise, the hotel is centrally located, an ideal location for first-timers to the city. It is near enough to walk to the nearest metro station and Uber/Grab cars are easily available. Staff are polite and we did not have any unpleasant encounters with them. We were unlucky to get very unruly kids and guests staying next door who shouted down the corridor like they were at their own home!

Excellent Location, Value and Service
The location of this hotel is great, and you always receive a warm welcome at the reception, great value too for what you get in KL. Although there is major construction going on in front of the hotel, we don't hear the noise at night. Breakfast is ok, coffee was horrible it really did not taste like coffee, not at all like our first visit (I feel management should look into that). I think Sunthari the beautiful lady at reception remembered we prefer higher floors the second time we were there and gave us room 1806 which was great. In fact all the staff were great and accomodating, it made such a difference to our stay.
