By Flight -

Senai International Airport has domestic flights to and from major airports around Malaysia, including connecting flights to Malaysia's main airport Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Airlines company that provide domestic flights are Malaysia Airlines, AirAsia, and Firefly. Flights from Kuala Lumpur will take around 1 hour to reach Johor Bahru. Taxis are available at Senai International Airport and the ride takes about 30 min to reach the city. Taxis leaving from the airport operate on a voucher system with each trip costing around RM45 for up to 4 passengers.

By Car -

For those driving to the location can reach the homestay by using the North-South Expressway. Drivers should then take the exit to Malaysia-Singapore Second Link (E3) and continue on to exit unto the Nusajaya Highway (route 52). From there drivers should make their way to Jalan Hang Jebat 2. The homestay will be on the left. The journey from Kuala Lumpur to Johor should take around 3 hours 30 minutes depending on the traffic.

By Bus -

Larkin Bus Terminal serves as the major long-haul bus terminal in Johor Bahru. Buses between JB and other Malaysian or Thai cities and those between JB and Singapore will usually start and terminate here, though some buses from Singapore also drop passengers off at JB CIQ. There are plenty of bus companies that serve the KL-JB route such as Causeway Link, Transnasional, Super Nice, Star Coach Express, Mega Star Transportation (Kejora Express) and Maju Express. Bus tickets from KL to JB will cost around RM35 with the journey taking approximately 5 hours.

By Train -

All trains in Johor Bahru operate from JB Sentral railway station along Jalan Tun Abdul Razak and Jalan Jim Quee. It is connected to both the CIQ and City Square by pedestrian overhead bridges. For those taking the train from KL Sentral can take the ETS to Gemas which will cost RM 31 (one-way) and then proceed to take a shuttle to Johor Bahru which is an additional RM21 per one-way ticket. Trains are a very popular way to travel between KL and JB and are often fully booked. To make sure you get a seat, book your tickets as early as possible. Tickets can be bought online up to 30 days in advance, either in person at KTM ticket counters or online through the KTM e-ticketing website
