How to Get to the Kasih Sayang Health Resort

Getting into Kota Kinabalu is easy by simply taking a flight to the city. Kota Kinabalu has an international airport. It is around ten minutes away from the city centre and forty minutes from the Kasih Sayang Health Resort. From the Kota Kinabalu city centre, the trip to the health resort will also take about forty minutes. It is recommended to rent a car to get to the Kasih Sayang Health Resort as there are no other transportations available in the surrounding area. The area around the Kasih Sayang Health Resort is rather secluded. It is possible to take a taxi to the health resort but the fare might be expensive. The Kasih Sayang Health Resort is located along the federal route, the Jalan Kokol Poring-Poring in Kampung Sinagang.

Different Types of Rooms at the Kasih Sayang Health Resort

The Kasih Sayang Health Resort offers three types of rooms at their hotel. The rate showing in each room has already included a complimentary breakfast service for two. The health resort also has a free cancellation policy on their rooms. The first room at the health resort is the Standard Twin/Queen with rate starting from RM 150 a night. It is a 21-sqm room with either two Twin-sized beds or a Queen-sized bed. For the Superior King room, it is more expensive than the previous one, at RM 229 a night. The room, however, is slightly smaller as it comes in 19-sqm space. This gives the room a snuggly, cosy feel to it with a King-sized bed fit into it. The last type of room at the Kasih Sayang Health Resort is the Deluxe King. The Deluxe King is perfect for those who appreciate spacious rooms. It is a 34-sqm space with a King-sized bed. The rate per night is at RM 305.

All of the rooms in the Kasih Sayang Health Resort are equipped with free Wi-Fi connections. The rooms also have the same basic in-room amenities such as a coffee/tea maker set, complimentary bottled water, a television set and a writing desk with a chair. They do not have air conditioners in any of those rooms as the weather in the area is cool. They do have a fan in the each of the rooms. A heater is installed in every room just in case the rooms get extra cold during the nights. All of the rooms have a balcony, overlooking the beautiful Kota Kinabalu city or the Mount Kinabalu. The private bathrooms have a hot shower, a bathtub and a toilet.

Cloud 9 is the restaurant at the Kasih Sayang Health Resort. It serves buffet breakfast every day and a la carte lunch and dinner services. The Cloud 9 serves some delicious, healthy food, catering to the Asian and Western tastes. It has a 120-seating capacity with the breathtaking views of the Kota Kinabalu town and the Mount Kinabalu. The Cloud 9 restaurant also caters to special menus such as vegetarians, salt and sugar-free and such.

Facilities at the Kasih Sayang Health Resort

It has the typical basic facilities that one would find at a resort such as a business centre, conference rooms and laundry services. They also have a sauna and spa. There are airport shuttles available from the hotel but there will be a surcharge.

Interesting Place Near the Kasih Sayang Health Resort

Mari-Mari Cultural Village - It is located in a remote forest setting in Kionsom, Inanam, just fifteen minutes away from the Kasih Sayang Health Resort. It is the place to go to get more knowledge and hands-on experiences in the traditional Sabahan ethnic communities such as the Bajau, Lundayeh and Dusun among others. Here, visitors may check out the daily routines of these traditional Sabahan, their musical instruments and taste the delicious delicacies.
