How to Get to Memory Homestay

You can come to Memory Homestay very easily. You can choose plenty of public transportation to go here such as bus, flight, or you can ride your own vehicle.

If you come from Perlis for instance, you can travel by bus from Kangar Bus Station to Kuantan Bus Station. There are several buses travelling from Perlis to Kuantan, Pahang. Travel from the Kangar Bus Station to Kuantan will take around 9 to 10 hours depending on traffic conditions. Once you arrive at the Kuantan Bus Station, you can go to Memory Homestay by book a taxi or Grab car.

You also can come to Kuantan by plane. You can choose your preferred flights to go here such as Malaysia Airlines or Air Asia. If you are coming from Kuala Lumpur, you can take a flight at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to Kuantan Airport. Usually, the flight will take about 40 minutes.

For those of you who want to ride your own vehicle, you can follow the route suggestions by using the PLUS highway to Memory Homestay, approximate time to arrive about 4 hours depends on the traffic conditions.

Memory Homestay is very suitable for family visits. They provide a family room with shared bathroom to the visitors. In this room, there are 2 queen beds and you can sleep in one room until 4 persons.

There is no restaurant provided in Memory Homestay. However, you can bring your own ingredients and raw food such as prawns, chickens and others as they provide BBQ set and place.

- There are some interesting places that you can visit when you are here. You can go to Esplanade Park which is around 4.17km from the homestay. It is a recreational place whereby there are a lot of activities happened there. It is a well-designed and long garden along the Pahang River. Besides that, for those who loves to go for fishing, this is the best place to do the activities. There is also a waterfront food court over there. You can enjoy the view while watching your kids playing at the small playground provided there. It is a nice place to hang out, especially for those who bring along their family members.

Bukit Gambang Resort City

- The next interesting place is the Bukit Gambang Resort City. It is just 30 minutes away from the homestay. Many activities can be done here. There are many shows over there such as predator show, wonderful birds and animals show, African yabara fire and also Tarsan adventure show. For those who bring along their small kids and family, you can play in the Malaysia’s largest wave pool with 8 wave patterns including Tsunami wave pattern. Please go to their day and night zoo safari which is the largest zoo safari in Malaysia. There will be a tramp to Wild Savanah and also ATV safari adventure there. You also can feed the animal when you are there such as elephants, bears, birds and rabbits. Besides feeding the animals, you also can dine with white lions that roaming freely just outside the Simba Hill Gourmet.

Sultan Ahmad Shah State Mosque

- You also can visit Sultan Ahmad Shah State Mosque that is around 10.13km away from the homestay. It is located in the heart of Kuantan’s central business district. This mosque is inspired by Ottoman-Moorish style architecture which has the largest dome in its centre of four rocket-shaped minarets and four smaller domes. This mosque can easily accommodate until 8000 people at one time.
