For those who are travelling from Kuala Lumpur city centre, it will take almost four hours driving through the North-South Highway as the distance between these two points is about 332 kilometres. From the city centre of Johor Bahru itself, it is just under five kilometres and depending on the traffic, the drive to the hotel is around ten to twenty minutes. If driving is not something to look forward to, there is an option to take the express buses from most of the major cities in Peninsular Malaysia or even from Singapore. From Kuala Lumpur, the ticket price for an express bus to Johor Bahru starts from RM 23, one-way. The trip will take about almost five hours to complete. All the express buses will stop at the Larkin Sentral, the main bus terminal in the city and it is just ten minutes away to the Zen Zeng Hotel. There is also an option to take the train from Kuala Lumpur and this will involve of taking the ETS from Kuala Lumpur to Gemas, before boarding the intercity train from Gemas to Johor Bahru. Taking train will take the longest time, with the total trip time is more than six hours. The fastest way to travel to Johor Bahru is by taking the plane. Johor has its own international airport in Senai, just half an hour away.

Different Types of Room at Zen Zeng Hotel

The hotel has five different sorts of rooms that come with different prices. Its smallest, and cheapest, room, the Single, is just RM 59 a night. The room is perfect for a single traveller, or anyone staying for business, and though it is small, the room is still giving enough comfort. Next is the Standard room that starts from RM 88+ a night. This room comes with a Queen-sized bed, perfect for a couple or maybe for those who like to have a big bed to sleep on. A bigger room than this is the Superior room, which also has the same price tag as the Standard Room. The Superior Room, however, is designed for those who want to share a room, but not sharing a bed. This room comes with two single beds in its big, comfortable room. For those who are looking for a big room that can fit three people, the Zen Zeng Hotel has the Deluxe Room which comes at RM 128+ a night. The Deluxe Room has a choice to either have a double bed with a single bed or three single beds. The biggest room in the in Zen Zeng Hotel is the Family Room. The room has two double beds, perfect for a family of four to stay comfortably. This room is RM 148+ a night. The rooms in the hotel have a television set and an air conditioner. All of the rooms in Zen Zeng Hotel have their own en-suite bathrooms, with a toilet, a sink and a shower.

The hotel offers breakfast service every day, starting from 7.30 am until 10.30 am, with extensive delicious and mouth-watering menus. The Zen Zeng Hotel also has free Wi-Fi connection in the lobby of the hotel and also a couple of computers available for the usage of the hotel's guests. Apart from its small business centre, the hotel also provides coffees and teas throughout the days. There is a baggage storeroom that is used if the rooms are not yet ready during check-in, or to stow away luggage after checking out but still want to look around the hotel area.
