What Guests Say About Their Stay

Located just few steps away from Petaling Street and Pasar Seni LRT station, i found this hotel very convenient. The staffs are friendly, shared bathrooms are clean, the single bedroom was not too fancy but quite comfy and i like how they provide water dispenser on the second floor so the guests may refill their own water bottle at any time for free. If you are fond of late night snacks, there are some fast food or street food stalls nearby still opening until around 11pm. I'd probably stay at Rain Forest if I come back to KL again someday. Thanks's a lot.

The hotel is clean, neat and staff are very helpful and lovely. The location is good, close to Pasar Seni metro station and monorail. I really appreciated the cleaning service, my room was cleaned daily, my towels changed everyday as well as the toiletries. There is a nice rooftop space to enjoy a coffee and water available for free at every floor. Very good value and recommended!

I enjoyed my stay here however, it is very basic. The room was quite small and had no window. The staff were friendly and welcoming and helped me even book transfers to and from the hotel. The bed was comfy and clean and the room had Aircon which worked well. One of the only things I didn't like, was that it was quite noisy but I think this was simply because of the others staying in the hotel at the time. If you are travelling on a low budget, this hotel is great for just that but maybe not if you are expecting anything more luxurious.

The hotel was lovely .. nice decor and design. The shower and toilet rooms were clean and tidy. Lovely rainforest decorated area to sit in and talk to other travellers. Unfortunately our bed sheets were not clean and were full of hair. And there was a rat running around in the common area.. however I have gotten used to rats being pretty much everywhere in asia so this wasnt to alarming. I would stay again. The location was right by china town and a street market... 7/11 just around the corner. Purple bus into the city centre and to the towers is free.. bus stop close to hotel.

I was upset with teh room space. It is too small, also, there are mosquitoes in the room although I have informed the receptionist about this. The toilets are not clean. In addition, I felt I was deceived either by the booking agency or the hotel, the charge me 10RM per night for tourism fee. I have learned that they should charge this fee from the tourists, but Expedia did not show such fee when I reserved the rooms, while other hotels in Expedia shows such fees.

Honestly, if I had know that this was a guest house as opposed to a hotel I probably would have looked elsewhere. The reason I say that is because all you get when it comes to the rooms are a couple of beds and some power sockets, and that is basically it. Everything else in the hotel (or should I say guest house) is shared. This is okay to an extent, particularly since with the kitchen facilities as there are a variety of utensils. The shower facilities are also shared, though they aren't really the best. However, the place is pretty cheap, which is a bonus, and the staff are quite nice as well. Oh, and they have a pretty awesome balcony on the top floor as well.
