Great Location
The hotel is located very close to the airport in a commercial area with convenient stores, eateries, and banks nearby. It’s also connected to a small mall but there’s not much in it. The hotel room is spacious but looks a little dated. TV channels are limited however the WiFi connection is fairly strong. There’s a nice pool on the lobby floor however be warned that it’s located right in front of the coffee house, so swimming at breakfast time is a no no unless you enjoy an audience. Speaking of breakfast, variety was limited and taste was just so so. Overall, this was a comfortable business stay. Not exceptional, but it was good enough.

Great Friday BBQ Cookout Buffet Dinner
Went here recently to their new Friday BBQ Cookout Buffet Dinner. I was made to understand that BBQ Buffet Dinner is currently for 2 months only starting August 2017. It is happening on the 1st and last Friday of August and September 2017. That's what advertisement in the poster indicates. The price is RM68 for adult and Rm48 per child, which I think is reasonable given that the buffet spread is amazingly generous. The evening that I went here, roasted whole lamb and Barbecued meats as well as Seafood were served on the spread. There was even a dessert counter, main courses counter, appetizers counter and even free flow of Ice Cream. Overall the food was amazingly delicious, most importantly the price is affordable. Service was all right, staff were attentive and keep tables cleared of used plates/utensils. Looking forward to come back here soon, obviously for its price and generous spread. The restaurant/coffee house is located on Level 3M and I pretty much recommended this place for its Friday BBQ Cookout Buffet Dinner. I read somewhere that this hotel is going to be re-branded soon, taking its previous name, Soluxe Hotel, which is less than a year after Soluxe became Narada in November 2016.

Only posting this negative review as hotel have not replied to my email
Stayed here for one night as needed an early connecting flight. Our room was right near a boiler or machinery room so we heard the noise constantly. The hotel had a large group of korean/japanese tourists in who were making alot of noise in the corridor very late talking and slamming doors where they were going in and out of each others room. The final straw was a light in the entrance hall to our room which constantly flickered on and off despite the switch being off. We did report all of this to Hannah the receptionist but she just seemed to laugh it off. We did not have time to speak to the manager as we had a flight to catch. I have emailed the hotel 10 days ago but have had no acknowledgement

Noisy chinese tourist hotel.
When I pulled back my sheets the first night, I found blood and hair on the bottom sheet. The housekeeping changed everything immediately but IT SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED. There was nothing in the way of an apology, just an irritated look from the concierge. The majority of the guests were loud, rude, arroagant Chinese. They showed no consideration for anybody except themselves. They pushed people out of the way in the dining room and in the lifts. The breakfast was of poor quality. Mainly catered for Chinese . The hotel is situated about 20 minutes from the city. It is easy to get a cab and reasonable. The hotel runs a free shuttle bus. It depends on what you are looking for. I would not even be tempted to stay here again. I was stuck on a tour and couldn't do anything about it. It's just cheap basic tourist hotel.

Too many chinese
If it wasn't for the hotel being full of noisy arrogant rude chinese people this hotel would be fine. It is clean, a taxi into KK cost 35 ringit. The breakfast is aimed at the chinese market. The information leaflets are also in chinese so no use for me. Sorry but if i was coming back to Sabah i would remain in Sandakan.
