Staycation
Awesome. Very satisfied. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful and mostly very friendly. Room very nice and clean. Thank you Sutera for this wonderful stay.

Family vacation
Good for honeymoon or family retreat pleasant staff esp Mr Adamz (full of humour) if you are lucky, you will meet shark doo doo doo... and I was lucky that day !

Romantic Vacation
Rooms were very cosy and comfortable. Service staff were fairly attentive. However food choices at the restaurant can be improved. There is also a pool for in-house guests.

General Check-in Instructions
To reach Sutera Sanctuary Lodges at Manukan Island, guests will need to take a boat transfer to the island from the Marina Jetty, Sutera Harbour. Take either a taxi or the SSL private land transfer to get to Sutera Harbour. Taxi fares will depend on the pick-up point. The SSL private land transfer is charged at MYR150 nett each way for pick-up/drop off within Kota Kinabalu district (maximum 6 persons per way. A complimentary boat transfer from Sutera Harbour Marina is provided within scheduled times (except for the special deal/promotion rates - please check your rate conditions for full details of inclusions). Departing time (from Sutera Harbour Marina Club): 10.30am / 11.30am / 12.30pm / 1.30pm / 3.30pm *subject to change/ Front office MIR will contact you at least 1 or 2 days before arrival to confirm the boat timing * Returning time (from Manukan Island): 12noon / 2pm / 4pm. • For extra guests, guests booked outside of the booked room’s standard occupancy, the boat transfer is an additional charge of MYR75 per adult and MYR37.50 per child for a two-way transfer. Infants below 3 years old can travel for free. • For unscheduled boat transfers between the hours of 6am and before 6pm, an additional charge applies of MYR75 per adult and MYR35 per child per way. • For unscheduled boat transfers between 12:00am to 6:00am an additional charge of MYR500 per boat per way applies. And MYR250 per boat per way between 6:00am to/before 12:00am. • Transfer to the Gaya Island Jetty is also possible and chargeable at MYR500 per boat per way from 12:00am to 6:00am and MYR250 per boat per way from 6:00am to/before 12:00am. Please note this rate does not include docking fees at Gaya Island. • Guests are required to inform the property of their preferred boat transfer time at least 48 hours prior to their booked check-in date. • Please Note - Sabah Parks conservation entrance fees apply to every guest. The fee for Malaysian and Non-Malaysian guests may vary. • Please contact the property for more information.
