- Romantic Vacation
Unique decoration. Nice to stay. Very near to places of attraction. We booked the blossom suite. The bathtub was so big that it can fit two adults at one time. The only downside is that the staff keep turning off the water heater main switch, so when we want to take hot shower at night, need to go to the main office (which is next to our room) and switch it back on. It's very inconvenient. The rest is okay.

Ipoh stopover
The ambience and accomodation were comfortable. However, the location was not the best as it was in a residential area and access to shops etc was difficult. The breakfast was very ordinary. I believe they have another property in the City centre which may have met my requirements more fully. This property is not value for money.

So quaint, but small rooms
The ambience of this hotel is so trendy and quaint and the staff is friendly and helpful. The wood is beautiful and the rooms uniquely decorated. The mattress was so uncomfortable and the walls so thin that I wouldn't stay there again, although I really did like it. The rooms are very small, but perfect if you are just using them for sleeping.

Bring a pillow
Brick foam pillows are most uncomfortable... And no hot water... At rm300 a night it should have hot water! Cute room, creative... Good mattress... But 3in 1 coffee and tea... Really! Not great value, considering you in the middle of ugly town... A little more effort and this place could be fantastic

Fun and novel rooms, service can be improved.
We stayed in the twin room (palm tree). Absolutely loved the room and furnishing, it's fun and novel and the jungle / kampong theme was really well done. Loved the HUGE wooden tub. The mattresses were nice and soft too. The common area outside was also very well decorated. Some complaints are that there was mosquitoes in the room (and I got bitten), the air-con took really long to work, and the fridge didn't work at all. For the price we paid, I'd expected these to be in place. The place was a little out of way and inconvenient for us who didn't drive. It's about 10-15mins walk to the famous assam laksa yong tau foo (highly recommended) at Jalan King, and a 20-30mins walk to Jalan Sultan Iskandar (where all the famous restaurants are). It can be a little quiet and dark to walk at night. There are also no restaurants / convenient stores nearby. Service also can be improved. The caretaker does not speak English and although he seems rather friendly, we had difficulties communicating with him. They also don't seem to have the practice of allowing guests to leave their luggages behind and coming back at a later timing (also no common restrooms, unlike other hostels / hotels), but we managed to do so after some miscommunications. Breakfast was not fantastic either, suggest to go out earlier for the local specialties.

Tortoise, outdoor shower and hanging bed
Spent 1 night here with my 6-year old daughter and parents. Turns out there was something for everyone. My 6-year old LOVED that there was a tortoise swimming just outside our room. And she really liked the outdoor shower! I thought the hanging bed was super cool. My parents loved the artsy wooden decor. I have to admit .. The drive here was not promising. Was not sure what to expect in this neighborhood. But was pleasantly surprised with the actual place. Nothing to do in the actual compound, so .. Be prepared to drive out for meals and other activities.
