We booked a different hotel and days before our trip we received a call that the hotel was overbooked. Was pretty upset because the hotel had already charged us for the reservation, but with Expedia they helped us with finding another hotel also in the same area(downtown area). The fiesta americana was a bet more pricey than the one we reserved in the first place but because of the inconvenience they respected the prices we had already paid. This hotel is a bit older but is still in very good condition and has a very vintage look. We loved that it was easy to check in and out and the cleanliness of the hotel. The staff was very nice and friendly always greeted you and offered to help if they saw you with bags. There was one thing that I did not like, that there was no mini fridge in each room. Although it’s not a big issue, they did offer to place anything in there main fridge, but would have to ask the front desk.
