Hacienda San Francisco

The staff is friendly and professional. Ricardo, who is in charge of the hacienda went above and beyond expectations. He made us feel very special as he catered to our needs, assuring the relaxing time we were looking during our stay. The breakfast is made to order with good options. We had the opportunity to reserve the dinners during our stay. The experience was delightful with candles illuminating the dining area, excellent choices for the background music and great service. On top of that all the meals were well prepared with fresh ingredients, excellent taste and presentation. The dinner menu has several options, including traditional yucatecan meals Ricardo also gave us a tour of the hacienda where we learned about it's unique history. You can see that he is working to preserve the culture of the area and to provide awareness of the surrounding community and at the same time he seeks to give a great experience to his guests. You really inmerse in nature here. It is an excellent place for bird watching with several types of birds. We also saw a couple of coatis, horses. There is also a monkey! The rooms are spacious and authentically decorated. The main town is easily accessible by moto-taxis. There is also a little store withing walking distance very well stocked. Great place to stay, beautiful scenery. Room/villa was even more amazing in person than what the photos shown. Lots of great areas to explore on the property. Breakfast was delicious as well. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to return for our next vacation

This Hacienda is absolutely beautiful and the grounds are stunning, so much to see and explore. The little casita rooms were very clean and well equipped. The staff were wonderful. We stayed here as a family of four and can’t wait to return. Next time we would bring our own food as there’s a kitchen in the Casita, and the restaurant is only opened for breakfast which we didn’t know. Everything was wonderful. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, and a time to relax in gorgeous surroundings then this is the place. It’s also only one hour from Merida, Izamal and the beach. So a great location for a longer term stay.

This property was amazing - the rooms are beautiful just like I remember when i was young visiting my grand parents.. and SUPER Clean. amazing how they brought the past to the present and feels like home. - Will be coming back again - all rooms are slightly different and amazing.

We were the only guests at this beautiful hacienda. The chef cooked us fabulous meals. Lovely grounds, rooms and pool.

Magic place

Fantastic staff! Beautiful grounds! Greeted by Margarita and she shared the history of the Hacienda! Chef Andres was very personal and went out of his way to provide dishes to your personal preference! Can’t wait to go back and stay for 3 or 4 days!

I have stayed in a number of converted haciendas in the Yucatan over the years, some more pricey than Hacienda San Francisco and some less. Hacienda San Francisco compares well to these others, and I recommend it. Overall, the hacienda is very charming. When staying at a hacienda, we expect an odd pull between comfort with some nice, high-quality details and a bit of a rustic nature. That's what we are looking for, and that's what we found here. The accommodations were comfortable, clean, and spacious. The beds, bedding, and towels were of a high quality, and the bathrooms were well-appointed. Our room had a back porch with a kitchen space (including refrigerator) and a plunge pool. Not all rooms are air conditioned, so if this is a concern, you should confirm that yours is. We had one room with AC and one without, which worked well for us, since some in my family want AC and others prefer warmth and complain about cold ACs. The staff was very warm and hospitable and seemed to keep things running well. While at the hacienda, my sons enjoyed horseback riding and a great pottery class. They also played on the basketball court, and we all enjoyed taking walks and playing games in the small rec center (pool, table tennis, board games, etc.). We ate several meals at the hacienda's restaurant. The food was great, and the waiter and chef were very nice. (Here deep in Mexico, my sons had the best french fries I have tasted.)

Our stay at Hacienda San Francisco was AMAZING! The accomodations were impeccable and extremely comfortable; and the staff was very helpful and kind. We could not have asked for anything more. The ammenities were more than we could have ever expected and the food in the restaurant was beyond fantastic. If you are looking for a relaxing weekend and don't mind great tranquility, do not hestitate to book your stay here!!! I highly recommend this place!!!

this hotel its excelent for families or friendes reunion, relax, meditation. honeymoners. its close at beachs too. the property is big great to explorer ideal for children like to play (exploration). we stay two nts and we would like to be more nts.

Ricardo y todo su equipo son muy amables y están interesados en que tengas la mejor experiencia. Cuando llegamos, el check in estaba listo (llegamos 2h antes), el cuarto está siempre limpio y si necesitas recomendaciones, Ricardo siempre ayuda. Si quieres algo Eco friendly y off the beaten path, esta es una gran opción
