Hotel Playa Marina

Ac only works for room not the living room ramps to access rooms are too steep

While at the hotel the fob programmer for the keys broke down. We were not provided a key for the room until the last 12 hours of our stay. We had the security guard open the room for us every time (he was nice). When you check in the request you wear a bracelet. There is no other reason other than access to the hotel for the bracelet. No other service provided with it. One of the receptionists was really nice, she tried to make our stay more pleasant even with the downfalls. We had to disconnect the TV to be able charge our phones. The outlets did not work. The small refrigerator did not work also. The room was serviced daily that was nice.

They sprung that our 8 day stay had to be paid in cash. It said they take credit cards but not from Americans I guess. The bed was extremely hard. We did have a balcony which was very nice and we spent a lot of time on it. Our cleaning lady, Lucy, was amazing. She was very friendly and always tried to make sure everything was okay. We adored her. Carlos the security guard was very friendly and when they were playing loud music upstairs he went and got it turned down. Overall a good experience.

Staff was rude Our rooms had roaches The staff at the dinning are Palapa Breakfast and Lunch rude if they would assume if you leave a tip they will treat you right but if they assume you would not give a tip they were soo rude the only staff that was great was Palapa Dinner they were awesome

The location is excellent as was the staff. The pool was cold and unclean. There are unusable kitchen utensils. The wifi is nonexistent in the room. Hot water was an issue at times.

Disappointed with the Mijority of the staff/services Except for a real nice young lady Named Maria friendly and very helpful . Rooms need to be remodeled , NO HOT WATER IN KITCHENETTE AND DEFINITELY NO HOT WATER FOR SHOWER! was charged for leaving a dirty glass and spoon $50 extra ridiculous..When checking out they had trouble even calling a cab..don't plan on staying here again

They only provided 2 towels in the room even if you booked for more people although they said yiu could ask for moreat the front desk before 5pm. They didnt have any beach/pool towels.

Everything just wonderful

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel .The pictures that they post on Hotels .Com are nothing to how the rooms are. My room I had the ac was not working ,the pool was dirty ,Didn’t have water in the room to take a shower at night.I wouldn’t even recommend it to stay .Paid for 3 nights and I ended going to another hotel .

The building it’s literally in front of the sea!! It has an amazing view of the bay

The front desk service really awful I would never go back no professionalism at all the morning workers or night time workers didn’t know their job so I decided not to go back

It was across the street from the beach, the view was incredible the room was very large and I had a wonderful time.

Close to town, easy access to everything, very friendly, I am 100% satisfied.

La vista era buenas y la alberca normal

Me recibieron bien, más sin embargo me di cuenta que el hotel es viejo, las habitaciones no están modernas, las sabanas son muy delgadas para taparse y por lo tanto da mucho frío al dormír, les falta que se actualicen y hagan mejoras en el hotel.
