Segovia Regency Hotel

Great place, kind staff and great location!

En general fue muy buena experiencia. Si tienen que mejorar en el sistema de WiFi que es muy malo y estaban pintando las áreas comunes y el olor era insoportable. Muy limpio, todo en orden, toallas nuevas a diario y la chica de servicio siempre muy amable y dispuesta a ayudar.

Excellent location, short walk to Insurgentes metro and all sorts of bars, restaurants, nightlife. Between the hotel & Insurgentes is an amazing cafe pickup window - no seating but strong coffee and some pastry/sandwich options. This is a no-frills stay, not even a mini fridge or microwave (my fault for not checking). We found the bed a bit small, if you are sizeable, consider a room with 2 beds. The shower had excellent pressure and was plenty hot. There's a lot of traffic noise if you're facing the main road - the windows have slats at the top that open for circulation that don't block out the noise. The person who checked us in failed to give us the WiFi password (as foreigners we didn't have cell service) and didn't explain the room safe/lockbox that you have to put 500 peso deposit to get a special lock and key. Not a big deal but it was confusing if no one explains how it works - we should have used Google Translate to communicate. The overall feel is a very dated hotel, the carpet is long past due for a change. It's clean and a safe location, good if you intend to explore the city but not the best choice if you plan to spend a lot of time in the room.

An old hotel, worn beds and mattresses!! No ac.

Morning receptionist was amazing, she let me check in a little before check in time. Afternoon guy was more than happy let me stay in same room when I had to extend unexpectedly one more night. Check in process is quick and fast. Hotel is safe, quiet, nice friendly bellmen, near subway, bars and restaurants. Right in middle of 2 great areas you can walk to. It is bit older hotel, no frills, but great if you just need a place to stay.

It was okay. The hotel is located near Colonia Roma Norte and Angel de La independencia. It is a couple of blocks from Reforma and you can take the bus to chalputepec.

Location is great, but the hotel itself leaves some room for improvement. The bathroom door of my room cannot be closed because the door is slightly bigger than the door frame. One of the two elevators have problems with the sixth floor button. Staff are friendly and helpful, but the hardware is a little lacking.

Great location and within a few blocks choice of places to eat. The price was fair and I will return. Plenty of hot water and internet was stable. Easy Uber ride to TAPO.

Upon opening the door to our room, there was a very strong awful odor. The room looked run down, and the bed was hard with old bedding. The shower had hairs on the walls and the toilet had plumbing issues. Do not be fooled by the photos that are advertised.

Good place to stay. I have stayed here many times. The only suggestion is to add the number of power outlets. In today's world, we are constantly using our devices, the rooms need power outlets next or near night stands. This trip I had to find a hardware store to buy an extension cord.

Service was great. Unfortunately my room stunk like pee and dirty feet. Some nights were noisy. Maid services were not the best as I found black hairs on my bed sheets and bathroom was not clean thoroughly found old hairs 😥 . Front desk was excellent as the restaurant
