Hotel Not Hotel Rotterdam

Very unique hotel, staffs are friendly but it’s not a hotel that I will go back to.

Superbe hotel! Decor original et coloré. Chambre confortable, excelent service de la part du staff. Tout le monde est très gentil. Un des meilleures hotel où j'ai séjourné. Je recommande.

The hotel was really unique and the service was top notch, however, bear in mind that the rooms are not sound isolated and the corridor might be noisy sometimes, so recommend having earplugs with you if you're considering this place

The receptionist was very welcoming and spend time to give extra suggestions on what sight to see in the city. It made it a very memorable experience. Thank you and also attentive breakfast crew.

Very Wacky

As advertised, definitely a 'quirky' hotel.

This is not your average hotel stay. The property is made up of a handful of funky rooms, each with a specific theme. Some have a shared bathroom, but we reserved the Coo-coo clock upstairs room with a private bathroom. Suffice to say, this is not for families or for those with heavy luggage. There are stairs, lots of them, so be prepared. Once we made it to the room, we noticed that it had no television. Oh the horror! I suppose it is because the rooms are so small and close, a tv would make too much noise. The bed and table were bolted down, and walking space was tight. We did have a balcony, but I didn't feel comfortable walking on it sunce it was wooden and felt unstable (that is just me). On a positive note, it was very quiet all night and the staff was super friendly and accomodating (I asked for a blow dryer and was given one at the front desk-- don't automatically expect one in the room). Oh, and it was around the block from the train station which was the best part.

We loved the decor. Very friendly and helpful staff. Fabulous Thai restaurant at the hotel. The vibrant colors, the tasty food, the friendly staff…wow! This experience was a fun introduction to Rotterdam.

Amazingly decorated place, nice room, simple but spacious and good bed, staff super helpfull: they went over and above making me an early breakfast to catch the train. Thai restaurant that is part of the hotel is awesome too. Really fun place to stay right next to the train station. Can't speak to the surrounding area as i did not go out.

Lovely quirky hotel in central Rotterdam, excellent links to transport. I booked the ‘have a nice stay’ room which was literally a bed and nothing else but it was clean and comfy! I would return for another stay 🙂

A unique hotel experience. The vestibules are richly decorated in several imaginative styles. You have to see to believe. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Within the hotel is the Kevin Bacon Thai Restaurant serving authentic thai food. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Close to trams and train station for travellers Rotterdam or nearby towns.

Room itself was extremely unpleasant to stay in due to terrible damp/sweat smell, like this in all the ‘party’ rooms, so known the reception had a spray fabric ready as they are aware. No option to swap rooms - unacceptable for price paid. No option to have window open in room, window was also had huge crack down it. Staff friendly and polite but not helpful on service, for example got put into the wrong room and was not explained where shared shower/bathroom facilities were. Had to ask basic follow up questions to multiple members at times. Overall a terrible stay for price paid.

Such a fun hotel. The artistic decor made for a unique and memorable stay. The staff were additionally exceptional. 5 stars!!

Very cool and quirky hotel, located a 5 minute walk away from Central Station. Very friendly helpful staff who were accommodating with any needs. I was able to leave my luggage on arrival which was great and the free tea/coffee every morning was a welcomed addition. Beds and rooms comfortable with pleasant design. The Thai restaurant downstairs lived up to expectation - great atmosphere and delicious food and drink. Would recommend a stay here

This is the second time I’m staying at Hotel Not Hotel Rotterdam, and the experience in both occasions has been very pleasant. Everything is very clean and the staff is super friendly. Highly recommended.

I really liked the staff and the proximity of the property to the central station. The girl at breakfast was amazing, wish I could have had a proper conversation with her when I wasn't half asleep!
