Inntel Hotels Amsterdam Zaandam

I was initially very concerned when I booked this hotel. It looked obviously odd (fit perfectly with the area). The train was directly across the street and ran constantly to Amsterdam Central. Train was inexpensive and allowed us to be away from downtown, but close enough to quickly go each day. Highly recommend this property. Even the train to/from the airport. Close to the windmills.

We loved the hotel. Excellent breakfast and professional, helpful staff.

We stayed in this hotel 3 nights, whole duration of time the shower head was not working and after asking stuff to fix it and them supposedly fixing it-still was not working, fridge was not working till they either change or fix it, iron fell apart while being plugged in-luckily i did not got electric shock, when we came to lobby customer service and ask for partial refund or discount - they refused, they never offered us another room for all these inconveniences, and gave us cold unfriendly attitude, especially lady who said she was the manager. Hotel located in nice place and looks pretty outside, breakfast had good choices, but amenities in the room are old and non-working and some customer service employees of this hotel should not be working in hospitality industry

Decent hotel, rooms and bathroom were a good size. Great location and really easy to get to and from Amsterdam central (about 10mins) very regular trains. A few mins walk from the station. Breakfast was good with a reasonable variety from cold and hot. It got a little busy at peak times and could have perhaps done with another coffee machine. A short walk down the main high street brings you to a variety of bars/resturants. If you want to get away from the very busy centre of Amsterdam for the evening then its well worth trying Zandam and then short commute in. Main issue we had were the 2 single beds as opposed to one double. I don't recall booking one or the other but just went along with it. It wasn't the best and tended to slide off the base and bit and felt you were rolling off. Also given the hotel was refurbished in 2010 I would have expected USB ports but there were just normal plug sockets. There were a couple of usb's in the back of the tv which you can use but not as convenient. Also the tea/coffee did not have any milk (even long life). I guess we could have asked but would have expected this rather than asking. All staff were polite and courteous.

Fantastic stay in castle-like property. Luggage delivery with some stairs was expected and the host would tell you the nearest way to make it. Don’t try to take 4-course dinner or more if you are Asians as the portions are large indeed but perfect each course. No complaint though the price of dinning experience was set at high side. Dinner staff was funny and sociable while breakfast staff was friendly and eager to give us an introduction about the secret room behind the breakfast area. Nice! Sharp weather change between day and night. Guests should be aware of it.

First trip to Europe since married! Celebrated 35th wedding anniversary and my 65tg birthday. I was presented with a small box of chocolates on arrival. That was lovely. Loved staying at this hotel and in Zaandam. Will definitely book again.

Convenient location, great access to food and shopping

It was in a very nice location, with a McDonald’s restaurant just outside, malls and train station. Perfect location.

Overall I really enjoyed our stay my complaints were there were no plugs by bed, the breakfast was not open right at 7 we waited 10 mins and then had to leave. But what we loved about the hotel was its location - close to transportation, shopping and restaurants. Breakfast had a good variety. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to others!

The hotel was lovely however you are in an area which feels unsafe at night. There is anti-social behaviour and it needs refurbishing it’s quite dirty and the escalators are broken permanently. Good links to Amsterdam by train as the station is opposite the hotel. 8€ return in central. The rooms in the hotel are very close together so you can hear the people next to you. The spa is in need of some TLC the steam room was broken and the pool is freezing but the staff were lovely and I would give this 3* not the 4 it currently has.

The hotel is an amazing building a well photograph staff very helpful food was first class ery clean tidy

We like the facilities such as swimming pool and suna.

Room was to warm, we couldnt turn the temperature down as it was controlled by the hotel and it was to noisy to have the windows open, the escalator outside was making a horrendous noise which kept us awake the first night but it was finally turned off during the second night. Apart from that the hotel was lovely

This is the 3rd time we stayed at this hotel. We were this time their guest of the day and received an upgraded room with jacuzzi and some extras. Super convenient located next to shop and a 3 minute walk to the train starion. Very kindly and helpful staff. Will Always return to this hotel.

We stayed in a two single bed room but beds are too narrow for an adult. Beds are for children size.

The hotel is located in the center of a shopping center. It’s walkable to a train station, shopping, restaurants. The hotel is very clean and it seems like they clean it every 4 to 5 hours the hotel also has a restaurant on the main floor.

Stayed here in 2018 and loved it. Daughter wanted to stay here again so we did and the place did not disappoint. Just as lovely as we remembered.

Staff were good, friendly and helpful. Menu choice was a little limited but food and breakfast was good. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet particularly considering it was on road and train station side. Bed was two singles that were not joined together. Great location for restaurants, shops, and sightseeing. Great location for access to the airport and Amsterdam central train station.

Cost and quality wise it was perfect
