The complimentary breakfast buffet was delicious, plentiful, contained many options, and is located in a beautiful spot overlooking the harbour. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful. They really made you feel "at home " even if home is across the world.

Property was great and staff was very friendly and helpful. The only negative is that the only parking option is valet. The valet team were terrific but it's overpriced of it's not included and a bit of a hassle.

Balcony was absolutely filthy when we checked in, it was clearly not cleaned for days or weeks. Disgusting to see rubbish and poop when looking out at the harbour. Bathroom had stains around the bath faucet. Breakfast buffet had very few dairy free options and the food signs were inconsistent with the allergy info, which could be dangerous if you had severe allergies. My husband ordered the pancakes and said they were good, fried eggs and bacon were fine. Soy milk was freely available. Service was fine. Condition of room was a bit old and tattered. Bed was comfy and big. Be aware that you will be able to hear quite loud ferry horns at all hours, rooms are not soundproofed. They woke me up early in the morning. I was not informed about works at the hotel until I checked in. Hilton blamed hotels.com who I booked through, however the responsibility sits with Hilton to ensure it is clear to guests at the time of booking, and it was not despite them being planned works. Works were noisy both in the room and more so on the balcony. I would not have booked the room if I knew. Assistant manager Catherine tried really hard to make up for the issues but a free drink at the bar or a complimentary brownie - which was apparently sent to our room but we didn't receive it - doesn't make up for the poor experience.

Heating & Cooling in rooms not the best hard to get correct temperatures, drains in showers are very smelly, rooms need to have normal coffee available not everybody likes pod coffee

Great location, hence we picked this hotel. Check in was at 3pm. We waited around until this time, headed in only to be told our room wasn’t ready! Had to wait until 4pm to even get into the room. The hotel staff called when ready which was convenient. This made our evening unnecessarily rushed as we had to be out at an event soon after. Hotel itself is nice, the rooms are fairly outdated and drabby. Given the price, I would have expected better condition suites & better service. Much nicer hotels available for half the price in Auckland.

The hotel is very comfortable. We had a lovely view over the harbor. The front desk and concierge staff are outstanding. The breakfast was sumptuous and the view was spectacular. The only drawback was the officious female server who made the atmosphere less relaxing than it should have been.

Great place to stay, well, fantastic views. You should check when the cruise boats come to Auckland, as they park right in front of the hotel. Meaning your view is blocked for 12 hours.

Check in was slow, had to wait in a long que with only 2 staff on. They refused to honor the free breakfast even though I could show them it was included in our confirmation. Otherwise, great room with a great view out to the harbour.

Nice staff. Still felt like there were too few. I requested as a Gold member for a specific room, and was disappointed it was not available. Generally an ok place to stay.

We felt like a king and queen. Facilities were clean tidy beautifully presented

From the time we checked in to departure service was attentive and easy. Great spacious room. One of the few hotels these days that has a bath. Only snag but we are not complaining, we were greeted with a piece of cake in our room and later realised when we read the welcome card that it was fir another guest for his birthday! Sorry Dale, perhaps you got allocated our room and was greeted by an anniversary treat?!

Our room was lovely, valet parking was efficient, and front-of-house staff were very helpful. Breakfast buffet has stunning views but the food and coffee were average.

This was our second stay and we will be back. The staff are all so friendly and helpful and the hotel is beautiful. We had a harbour view room and it is great to sit on the balcony and watch the ferries sail in and out. Breakfast the next morning was great with a good buffet and plenty of options. Parking is really easy out front of the hotel.
