The hotel is modern, clean and very comfortable. The front desk accommodated my request for a ground floor room and it was much appreciated. They also loaned me a US to NZ power plug and I’m most grateful for that.
Housekeeping didn’t cleaned my room on the 1st day but promptly cleaned upon request, I think it was an oversight.
The location of the hotel is also very ideal, a 8 minutes walk from the bus exchange and afforded the opportunity to walk in the neighborhood to enjoy the beautiful murals and street arts. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again when I return to Christchurch in the future.

We learnt the first night that NZ bed sizes are smaller than Australian. Consequently we had a much smaller bed the first night. Thankfully the management gave us a large bed and room that was new and greatly appreciated. The wifi did drop out in the second room but that could be because it’s so new

I booked the wrong dates and needed to change my dates to later in the week. Owners said no way and made me pay for days I did not even stay there. Cheap. Dicey neighborhood. Found used Kleenex under the couch. They owe me $.

We stayed in large two bedroomed two bath roomed apartment. It was well equiped and very generous in size.
Stairs to upstairs mezzanine bedroom may be challenging for older guests.
Overall pleasant stay.

We abandoned our money and booked another hotel. The "Executive studio" was so tiny we couldn't get around the bed and there wasn't a single chair! I felt claustrophobic. Three nights paid for and lost If you are tiny people this might work. Also the location was in an industrial type area not the historic center.
