Very easy walk from tram from airport. Center of old town, shopping and tons of places to eat. Great location, staff extremely helpful and the breakfast was the best. Large buffet and you can order from the menu too!! Will stay there our next visit

Very nice and good association with a famous composer. Staff well intended but they put us in twin rooms and coukdbt fix the problem…also don’t expect a drink till 4pm as the bar is closed before then. Air conditioning is non existent - don’t buy the “we have natural climate control” answer….

The hotel on a weekend was incredibly noisy with drunk people outside until 2 am. The robes need to be replaced and the breakfast buffet was cold. It was best to order off of the ala carte menu. Location was great!

So it is a nice hotel, the rooms were nice and it is in a great area of Bergen. However the breakfast was not very good and it just seems that they miss the mark in all they do. I wouldnt go back

This hotel is in a very good location, a short walk from the tram stop for the airport. It is a beautiful old building in a quiet location. The breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend.

Lovely hotel, very comfortable, rooms are wonderfully furnished, modern heated bathroom with good strong hot water. Friendly and helpful staff. I had booked a deluxe with city view twin room but there weren’t’ any more twin rooms, and we downgraded to a deluxe room without views. The room was a bit dark because it looked into an internal courtyard but was otherwise extremely comfortable. Staff were apologetic and tried their best to find us alternatives, but in the end, we found the room more than acceptable, breakfast was wonderful with a good selection abd a nice a la carte menu, I can strongly recommend this hotel, and will want to be back if I am ever in Bergen again.
