This is an exceptional hotel - great value, perfectly located but what makes this a most special place is the staff, they are so friendly and welcoming. A genuine home-from-home experience, highly recommended 👍

You have to pay for breakfast. And you have to for the parking, they did not info us parking at hotel is not free. 10 minutes walking away there is parking cost 32kr for 24 h, as hotel charge for 150kr. If you are staying long, recommend the kommune parking.

The hotel was quiet, clean, safe and conveniently located and the breakfast was very good.

An exceptional hotel. Fantastic value, wonderful ambience but, most importantly, truly professional, friendly and committed staff - they are outstanding! Ieva, Elisabeth, Paulina and the team cannot be faulted, they provide exceptional service and definitely deliver a “home from home” experience.

Property was under renovations. Noisy n dusty. Expedia shud tell customers about renovations going on before booking. Not happy. Staff were excellent.

10 day visit around Norway staying in different places. Worst bathroom on trip. Shower was not built in, with only a shower curtain, which did not prevent water flooding the bathroom. Best breakfast on trip. The buffet was excellent, with a good variety of hot and cold food. Good, central location and relaxed atmosphere

I never managed to get to the hotel as they were fully booked - after having accepted to booking! I received a text message when I was almost there telling me that they were sorry but they could not accept me - but had rebooked me in another hotel. When I arrived at the “Hotel 1016” I was charged the price as per Scandic only to find out that 1) the hotel was a dump! And 2) I could have booked the same hotel in the app for half of what I paid! The room was dirty, had cracked class in the window (could not be opened as there was a danger of it falling out). I was so annoyed I went to Scandic to complain, but they only said they were sorry. I am NOT a happy customer and want a full refund. There is no way in hell I can ever recommend staying in any of the hotels again!!!!!

Friendly staff. Small room extremely small bathroom, poor cleaning, hotell needs to be refurbished. Not worth the price.

Felt like a worn down hotel that’d been renovated to an ok standard, but nothing fancy. Plus: Great breakfast Minus: No way to control the temperature in a room that was really warm. Silverfish in the bathroom :(

Basic Scandic hotel providing everything you would expect from the brand. Hotel was rather old-schooled and rooms needed renovation, but that expected from small town hotel, beds and pillows were as thin as you can get, and neck pain was inevitable. Breakfast were lavish and you could get anything you may imagine, yet again, Scandic breakfast is always top notch :) Other than, good loaction, very central, very quiet.

Outdatet, not clean enough, the breakfast didn’t seem fresh (dry cucumbers and bread).

We stayed in one of the suits, and it as a nice layout. The hotel is coming of years but still a nice place to stay. PS!!! The onsite parking is almost as expensive as the room.

Close to park and shops . Lovely hotel . Good facilities , helpful staff and good breakfast

Liked being connected to the mall. Easy to get to without going outside.
