Thon Hotel Terminus

The hotels location worked perfectly for us. Conveniently located to the May 1 celebration, Oslo sites, and affordable food options. Breakfast was incredible and our last day they graciously packed breakfast to take with us. The staff were friendly and provided us with great recommendations. Highly recommended.

Having breakfast onsite was great, and we especially appreciated the breakfast coffee machine, the good oatmeal and other vegetarian choices. We appreciated the comfort amenities like having coffee and fruit available in the lobby. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. We did have a problem with getting the room lock to work the first few days we were there. There was some conflicting information on whether we were to use the key card to lock it or just shut the door and wait at least a minute for the lock to click. Neither seemed to work consistently for us until day 3 or so, when we got to the right person to fix the problem Otherwise, the room was comfortable and clean and had plenty of storage space. Now I'm getting a little homesick for Oslo just writing about it...

Close to the central train station but still need a little walk. The streets are very noisy even at midnight. Sound proof of the room is not very good. The bed is very very comfortable!

Staff is extremely friendly; belpdul and accommodating. Location is convenient to all transportation oprions and walkable to mamy poihts of interest and dining options. Excellent breakfast buffet.

I stayed here for 2 nights and then left extra luggage at the hotel when I did Norway in a Nutshell. After spending 2 nights in Bergen I returned for another night and was very happy I did! This hotel is conveniently located just a short walk (even with luggage) from Oslo Central Station making it easy if you are arriving or departing Oslo by train or by plane! All of the major sights are walkable or if you prefer you can easily take public transportation around the corner from the hotel. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful and had lots of Gluten Free options!! The front desk staff were lovely knowledgeable and very accommodating. I would stay here again!

Very kind receptionist and overall fine stay but the room had a slanted ceiling and my son hit his head a few times.

The room was excellent, it was very clean, quiet and extremely comfortable. The staff were most helpful and friendly. The breakfast was first class and the hotel’s location is handy for central Oslo. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is a comfortable hotel with a good location near the station. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable. We were in a courtyard room (Rm429) which suffered, on one night, with noise from the nightclub on the other side of the courtyard. the music went on until past 3.30 am. This was a shame as it was the only thing that let the hotel down.

Great client service. Jeanette at the front desk was wonderful, friendly and and offered good activity suggestions. The breakfast had many hot and cold options and the hotel is next to Oslo Central station; near buses, trams, trains and only a 6-7 minute walk to the waterfront. Our room was spacious with a heated floor in the bathroom.

A quarter of my room was unusable because of a column at the bottom corner of the bed. The roof area on the opposite side of the bed was slanted, so unusable if there had been another occupant. Combined, I only had 2/3 of an already small room that was usable. There was water in the electric kettle, so it wasn't cleaned prior to my arrival. There was a disposable plastic cover to some kind of toiletry product in the shower shelf, so that wasn't cleaned prior to my arrival. The handle to the bathroom came off in my had when I tried to leave after showering. I will not stay at Thon Terminus again, and I am seriously considering if I would ever stay at any Thon property.

Lovely friendly staff that were always on half. Free fruit, tea, coffee and water at reception was a nice touch. Location was perfect, a short walk from the central station and main attractions. Breakfast was absolutely amazing, a fab selection. My only moan was the bed not being very comfortable! It was simply too soft so we kept rolling into the middle!

The staff and property were wonderful. Very convenient location. If you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs or a source of white noise, the neighbourhood gets loud on a Thursday/Friday night due to a nearby club.

Wonderful stay. Quiet. Great bed. Great bathroom. Amazing free breakfast and Nespresso machine. Would stay time and time again.

As regular visitors to Oslo normally staying at the same hotel, this time we decided on trying a different chain. The decor is very much not to everyone’s taste, for those from the UK think of the set of the Graham Norton show! We stayed in room 234 which while big for Oslo standards, was extremely cold, even with the little heater plugged in we where both cold and as a big rugby build chap I don’t feel the cold! Breakfast selection was excellent (the toaster is hidden with the cereals) and I was overjoyed that there was decaf Nespresso on offer! Be warned if there’s something on at the Spektrum this place will be heaving, so get down early for breakfast or leave it till the last 30mins, there’ll be plenty left!
