Valldal Fjordhotell - by Classic Norway Hotels

OMG the view from the back patio is worth the trip!! It helps that the weather for April was like mid summer the day we were there, but even if it had been terrible weather the view is wonderful.

This property has fantastic views. Valldal is smaller though so dining options other than the hotel are limited, but the food is delicious. TV seemed to only allow casting but we didn’t go all that way just to watch TV so that was minor.

Probably my favorite hotel out of a 24 day tour of Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Iceland. Walk out your door and your on the fjord! Views were outstanding, restaurant had tasty authentic Norwegian food. Loved this hotel!!!

Situated right in front of Norddalsfjorden surrounded by mountains. Very lovely & tranquil town. The hotel & rooms are so well designed with a lovely terrace in front of the hotel rooms. Very clean. Price inclusive of veryyy good breakfast!! Free coffee and tea at the hotel lobby. Staffs were also really welcoming, lovely. I would like to stay in this hotel again! Stayed for 4 nights and was very sad to leave this beautiful place.

We loved it, but lack of opportunity for meals was difficult for a 3 day stay. The choice for evening meals was limited especially vegetarian.

Simple option while staying in Valldal. Conveniently next to the grocery store. Beautiful view of the fjord.

After traveling in Norway for almost 2 weeks, this is the most beautiful place we stayed within a gorgeous setting of a fjord and flowers surrounding it. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We liked it so much that we extended our stay. Breakfast was good.

Excellent one level rooms with small private deck.

What a fantastic property. We were making our way south to Bergen and decided to stop here for two nights and explore the area. Would have loved to stay longer! Hotel is updated with modern, clean rooms. The property is so peaceful and well thought out with its exterior gathering areas. Each room having its own patio with privacy walls is a nice touch. We spent both nights sitting outside, enjoying wine and taking in the fjord. It’s right there. You are steps from the waters edge. As others have mentioned, the breakfast is incredible - definitely some of the best food we’ve had on our 9 day trip across Norway. All staff that we encountered were pleasant and helpful. Will recommend this place to anyone I know visiting the region, and look forward to a future trip where I can come and stay longer.

Beautiful location,very nice staff and clean modern rooms.We stayed here 2 nights and the view from our room was incredible.Breakfast was alright could use some more variety.But we would love to go back.

Great hotel in a cute little town. Rooms are great, clean and laundry on site is a bonus. Staff was awesome.

Great staff, lovely hotel

Easy to find and parking was included. Breakfast buffet was very good. They allowed us to use their laundry facilities during the evening, though there were limited machines. Room was nice and big, had patio that had a awesome view.
