The Santa Maria, A Luxury Collection Hotel & Golf Resort, Panama City

This property is luxury and comfort. Friendly staff, great but expensive sunday brunch and breakfast buffet. Highly recommend it to pamper yourself

Everything was wonderful. No complaints at all

By far One of the best hotels in Panama !

The entire staff at The Santa Maria was excellent. The hotel was kept in impeccable condition. The rooms were spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. Anytime we needed something sent to our room it was there in a matter of minutes. The pool area was sufficient and clean. The only 2 negatives in my opinion was the food options. We are vegetarian and the food options were extremely limited. If you didn't do the breakfast buffet and decided to go a la cart it took a very, very long time for the food to come out. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

Great Hotel and staff!

10/10 luxury Hotel. First time in Panama. My family (2 adults 2 teens-17 &14) had a fantastic vacation at the Santa Maria Golf and Resort from start to finish. When we arrived, we were well served by the concierge team and the property was so beautiful. The front desk was very welcoming and top tier.. We spent 5 nights at the resort. The pool was exceptional and the golf course immaculate. Room service came everyday- fresh towels, cleaned the room, replenished our coffee area and fridge. Breakfast was delicious; lots of variety of food. The only negative, they do not have a designated gift shop but they had a long strip nearby, walkable distance with a pharmacy, pet store, etc…we will come back

Luxury is the word!!! The resort is clean, spacious, and has many options. The main ingredient of this resort is the staff. All of them make you feel like your the only one in the hotel. They make you feel like you are family. They know your needs before you do. The resort is beautiful, The golf coarse is nice and they were working on it while we were there. the pool area is just amazingly pretty and relaxing, The Bartenders are the best. Lets not forget the room service. They were just impeccable checking in on you a couple times a day, bringing you water and chocolates each night. I just cant say enough good things about this resort and its staff. Whenever I am in Panama this is where I will be staying.

Our stay at The Santa Maria Hotel in Panama City was nothing short of spectacular! This five-star luxury hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, the well-trained, kind, and professional staff catered to our every need, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. The room features were excellent—comfortable, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The dining options were exceptional, offering a variety of delicious choices, and the spa was absolutely stunning—a perfect place to unwind. The expansive outdoor pool with a poolside restaurant and DJ created a lively yet sophisticated atmosphere. One of the highlights was having access to the Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course—a golfer’s dream! The course was well-manicured and impeccably managed, making for an unforgettable experience. Overall, The Santa Maria Hotel is truly a gem in Panama City. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely return! Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway.

Santa Maria is a wonderful hotel and great staff. The only problem I had was when the AC came on at night I felt that there was a plane flying overhead. Also in my room the balcony door didn’t lock. Having said the above I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Lovely property. We stayed there due to proximity to the airport. Was a lovely way to decompress before having to leave Panama sadly. Plenty of amenities excellent buffet breakfast. Staff was excellent.

Need more diiner options

Really the only problema I found is the mosquitos in the pool area at the end of the day, makes it unpleasant to be out and enjoying the beautiful pool area
