stayed there for 3 nights. long story short - very basic rooms, disappointed with lack of dressing gowns and SPA slippers, room was incredibly hot - no ac or even a fan! breakfast was very good, SPA was very good.

The only property in the area which promised air conditioning. We paid a premium for a superior double because it promised AC and a mini-fridge. No fridge and the AC did not seem strong. After noting our disappointment, we were upgraded to a large suite/apartment which was quite nice. The mini-bar fridge was there but the AC was weak in this room too and mainly blew air a degree cooler at most. We observed the doors in the hotel entry were kept open and they were not attempting to cool the restaurant by AC either. Other than that, we were pleased with the staff and facility. We slept well with the window open as it became cooler outside than inside.
Breakfast buffet was quite good and the kitchen staff kept all items refreshed. Machine coffee was tasty too.

Hotel Fado is very conveniently situated on the edge of the beautiful old town of Swidnica - convenient for the market square and Peace Church. There's a very nice pool and sauna which were very welcome as the weather was quite cold when I was there.
The food in the restaurant was delicious and beautifully served too. I don't usually like eating in hotel restaurants, but the menu looked interesting and I'm glad I did. Friendly and helpful staff too, so they deserve this high recommendation.
It's quite a bizarre name for a hotel in Polish Silesia, but it's decorated with photos of Lisbon and a few Portuguese souvenirs! They have an adding bar called Alfama, but no fado performances!
Swidnica is a pretty nice town - and the Peace Church totally remarkable.

Centraal gelegen hotel met uitstekend restaurant. Bedden en badkamer prima, vloerbedekking en deuren ( beschadigingen) kan beter. Gratis parkeren achter poort. Al met al prima!

Hotel Fado is a ok hotel in the midle of the city center, short distance to shops, breakfast is a 6/7 on the scale of 10 dont expect to much. Roms are tidy with a nice bathroom but the air inside the room is not the best as ventilation is not the best. Have not tested the pool but will probably do it the next time i stay there. Friendly and real helpful reception that speak good English

Sehr Laut. Neben dem Hotel ist ein Club und es ist extrem laut. Man hörrt alles sogar vom Flur des Hotels. Frühstück war sehr klein wenig Auswahl.
