The gentleman at the front desk was fantastic! Very courteous, pleasant and informative! I was able to upgrade my room without any issues! The room was spotless as always during my prior stays here! I have been staying at Metropol since 2024 every time I visit Poland and the consistency of high level service combined with very reasonable prices is the main reason I do not look at other hotels!

Hard pass. Rooms are fine and breakfast good was still very overpriced for what you get. The central location is convenient but is not worth the noise. When the hotel supplies ear plugs, you know you’re in for it. If you land on the wrong side of the building like we did, trams from the road below rattle you awake at all hours and there’s no end to the traffic noise even on the 8th floor. And to make it soooo much worse, your window is used as part of a screen for a massive advertisement and is lit up ALL NIGHT. I kid you not. It’s insanity. We had another stay booked for the following week and cancelled it as soon as we checked in. Run away quickly.

Hotel directly faces a very busy and noisy traffic, tram and metro junction. It even supplies ear plugs in the room but we couldnt sleep. The hotel otherwise was fine but the evening meal and service was poor. I wouldnt recommend.

Well located, central hotel, all public transport options on doorstep to explore Warsaw with ease. Bus to Old Town near roundabout. Warsaw Central Station, Zlote Tarasy shopping mall, Palace of Culture Science approx. 8 minutes walk. Hotel and rooms clean with views. Fridge and tea/ coffee making in room, + cold water dispenser for guest use on each floor level. A lovely Bar & Bistro at hotel, nice food and pleasant waiters and reception desk staff. Good value hotel. Would return here again.

I stayed at this hotel recently and unfortunately, my experience didn’t meet expectations. One of the major disappointments was the view – the window was completely covered by a large commercial banner, which was not disclosed at the time of booking. It made the room feel dark and enclosed, taking away from the comfort I was hoping for. Another issue was the lack of soundproofing. The noise from outside and neighboring rooms was very noticeable, making it hard to relax or get a good night’s sleep. On a positive note, the staff were courteous and check-in was smooth, but overall, these issues significantly impacted my stay. I hope the hotel considers improving sound insulation and providing clearer information about room views in the future
