Garam Lisboa

We had a wonderful stay at Garam Lisboa Guesthouse. The staff were very helpful and attentive, always ready with excellent suggestions for dinner and things to do. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-kept, making it easy to relax. The location in the quiet Estrela district was perfect — peaceful yet still close enough to reach the city’s main attractions. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a warm and restful stay in Lisbon.

The room size was very small. There were no drawers to unpack our stuff. We were checked into a room with broken AC, which is not acceptable. The close by restaurant recommendations were not always reliable (they were closed). Breakfast was excellent. Staff responsiveness was excellent. They helped us with taxi reservations which we have greatly appreciated.

The room was too small and no desk and chair. The only place to sit is the bad and you have no where to write anything. If you open two suitcases, then you virtually can not move in the room.

Had such a unique experience at Garam Lisboa. It’s a cute boho chic guesthouse which is located close to public transportation. The staff were extremely helpful and made it such a welcoming and personalized experience. I would highly recommend this place.

Property was so unique and fun! Everyone we came across bent over backwards to help us and the breakfast was amazing!

Impolite service. For the very 1st time was charged for late check-in fee 15EUR. NEVER come back again.

Nice small hotel in convenient location in Lisbon. Not in super touristy place, but safe and close to bus and good restaurants. Cute Bali theme, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good though tight for seating.

Nice property for those that do not want to stay right in the centre but with very easy transport links in and also along the coast

The breakfast was excellent with lots of healthy choices including eggs done your way. The location was close enough to the centre but also far enough away to be in a quiet neighborhood. There were some very good restaurants nearby. The room was very small with not much room for our luggage. The bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was very good. Be prepared for narrow stairs - no elevator.

Everyone was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always eager to help with anything we needed—from local recommendations to small personal requests. Their knowledge of the area made exploring Lisbon even more enjoyable and stress-free. The service throughout our stay was exceptional. The team went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and happy at all times. The rooms were spotless, with fresh, clean towels and bedding provided regularly, adding to the relaxing and homely atmosphere. Breakfast each morning was a delight—fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, with a variety of options to suit all tastes. It was the perfect start to each day. We can’t recommend Garam Lisboa enough. It’s a charming place with exceptional service and staff who truly care about making your stay memorable. We will definitely be returning!

The staff were excellent. Ana at the front desk was very informative. The breakfast was very good. the restaurants in the area (Ana's suggestion) were great. Two of our meals in the area were authentic Portuguese.

The staff is very nice. The facilities are cute. The space in the room was quite limited but ok. No place to hang the clothes properly and hang the towels. No elevator but the staff was helpful to carry the lodged. The breakfast and free coffee was great.

Fantastic boutique hotel. Would highly recommend. Lovely decor and great breakfast. Quiet location with easy access to the centre. Great pizzeria around the corner. Most of all the service was amazing. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Thanks to Davi especially who went above and beyond to help us during the power outage. Thank you again.
