Everything was great and good pricing

Away from the craziness of the tourism spots, but was close to a hop on/hop off bus stop for convenience.

The hotel was under construction. Of course we had no idea. It was very loud and dusty. The manager Layla was horrible. they refused to make any changes to my reservation. I would not recommend this hotel. The staff is terrible.

The price was good but the pool is right under the Lisbon airport flight path so dont expect to relax there. Every single electronic piece of equipment in the gym was broken. The carpets and doors on the ground floor with the gym and pool was beyond tired. The room and the cafeteria were good. Staff very helpful.

Hotel charges guests for parking wich is absurd…

Our stay was disappointing overall. The air conditioning was ineffective, the fridge was utterly useless, and even after being moved to another room, the problems remained. Housekeeping was inconsistent — the floors weren’t hoovered on one occasion, and when we asked for the duvet to be changed, we were told it wasn’t necessary, although it was eventually replaced. Daily maintenance noise also made it hard to relax. While staff did respond to complaints, the overall comfort and service fell below the standard we expected from Novotel.

This hotel is terrible. The staff is terrible. The manager is super rude. She doesn’t try to help in anyway. The hotel was under construction. It was sooo dusty. They should have noticed us of the construction before we got there. We tried to change our room because the banging was absolutely terrible but Laila (manager) said no. Never ever staying at a Novotel again

Overall good experience. Fun activities for kids and pool was good. There was construction during the day and limited options for dinner you had to walk a bit to find restaurants that were not part of other hotels. I would stay again.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent stay at this hotel was frustrating enough that I feel others should be warned. From the moment I stepped into the room, the experience was uncomfortable. AC Not Working: Despite the summer heat, the air conditioning was completely non-functional. I contacted the front desk, but all I got was a vague promise that "someone would look into it" — which never happened. The room felt like a sauna all night. Bad Odor: There was a strong, musty smell lingering in the room — the kind that makes you question whether it had been cleaned properly at all. It was tough to relax, let alone sleep, in such an environment. Dust Everywhere: Dust was floating visibly in the air and had settled on every surface — the desk, bedside tables, even the curtains. It triggered allergies and showed a serious lack of upkeep and cleanliness. Honestly, this hotel needs a serious revamp in terms of maintenance and housekeeping. We couldn't sleep whole night, What could have been a decent stay turned into a regrettable one. I hope management takes feedback like this seriously because the potential is there — it just needs effort and care.
