This hotel is in a great location. It is right next to Queen Street station which is great for the train. Right next to Buchanan Street where all action is. There restaurant has a lovely view. This is our second time staying here and will come back again.

My daughter and I stayed at the Carlton George for two nights. Overall, the hotel was great. It’s in a good location with good service. The only issue we had was parking. There was none and we had to park up the street which wasn’t too bad except for when we were dragging our suitcases. The breakfast was just okay…we found it pricey for what it offered. I would recommend for anyone not driving.

We only used the hotel as a base for a couple of nights so didn’t use the restaurant . We upgraded to a club room which was roomy and bed itself was comfortable enough but the pillows were very small and flat and didn’t even come up to the base of headboard and the pillows didn’t fit the pillow cases which were of a normal size. We did mention this to reception when checking out who said they would mention it to housekeeping . We have stayed here a couple of times before but not in a club room and didn’t have a problem with the pillows then so I was quite surprised that the pillows didn’t match up to the upgrade. Had we been staying longer I would have mentioned it after the Ist night.

The exclusive bar was a little different, but a couple of hours of drinks is worth it. Great location close to the train station and right by the airport shuttle bus stop. No complaints

The hotel was cute. Really awesome pub next door. The room perks were great. I'd say the only minus one this property is the closest roads that go by the hotel are taxi and bus only until a certain point at night. I only found this out from a local, otherwise I might have tried to drive there, which would have been impossible. Not even sure where I would have parked.

I had to pick hairs out of the bath before I could run a bath for myself, not pleasant. I then discovered I had three itchy bites the next day, which I can only assume were bed bugs. I emailed the hotel straight away and they didn’t even bother replying.
