voco GRAND CENTRAL GLASGOW by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Lovely hotel in the center of the city. Walkable. Lots of restaurant choices nearby. Staff was very helpful especially with our luggage transfers.

My partner and i are regular visits to Glasgow, and have stayed in several hotels over the city. I must say that our first time staying here wont be our last. The location, comfort, cleanliness and service was outstanding and it is by far our favourite hotel we have stayed in.

The area outside the hotel is horrible. We had an incident with people outside the building.

Literally connected to the train station and close to loads of restaurants and shopping. Room was comfortable.

This hotel was converted from an older one designed for train travelers. Originally the rooms were small so the current rooms are created from two older rooms. While the room had a sleeping area separate from the sitting area, it was not really functional. There were no drawers for clothes. On the bed side there was a place to hang clothes with only 4 hangers. On the other side there was a short armoire with no hangers. There was no desk and only a small table in the sitting area. Because this was the top floor, the windows were 6 feet above the floor and inaccessible. I would not stay here again.

Beautiful old world hotel in downtown Glasgow. Exactly what we wanted, comfortable bed great shower, affordable. Helpful professional front hall staff . The young man even helped us get our luggage on the bus .

Ac wasn’t really ac - and windows only opened a crack. If AC cooled to at least 21c - would be a great hotel.

Tough place to find, no ability to pull up in front. Parking is a few blocks away. But, if you’re traveling by train or on foot it’s a very nice property.

Breakfast is very good

The location of this hotel is excellent, especially if you are travelling by train. The staff were very pleasant but reception and the dining room are very dark spaces. There were also problems with the lifts.

The proximity to the station was excellent, literally the entrance is at Glasgow Central. A beautiful, gracious hotel, the rooms are clean, comfortable and large. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to be helpful and answer the questions I had. A stay here was a brilliant way to end my trip and I'd definitely choose this hotel if I visit Glasgow again.

I always enjoy staying at the hotel. The staff are always professional and courteous. The location is convenient, but not the safest, or cleanest. The accessible toilet needed attention on this occasion, as the bin was overflowing with soiled nappies. I will go back based on the staff and central location.

Hotel was a very convenient location and clean. They have renovations in their bar area right now which makes it less than optimal for pleasant drink after sightseeing/dinner though.

Amazing location. Food was great. Enjoyed our stay. The room was very comfortable. And the champagne bar is really nice. Loved that it is connected to Central Grand Station.

We have stayed in this hotel before and love it This time we had a suite Room was fairly big bed comfortable amenities good lovely warm shower We took advantage of our free drinks in Champagne Central ( well that was closed but the room beside it and although not as stylish it was fine) Breakfast was great (lovely to not have to cook it) So overall relaxing only downside was it was too short!!!

Great room. Air conditioning and comfortable beds.

Our room was very spacious with a very comfortable bed and a wonderfully large bathroom. The decor was very industrial looking which reflected the proud history of this hotel. The breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful , our receptionist I believe was called Victoria, or something like that. The room was well located at the top and back of the hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the streets. We had a big TV screen in our room but no remote control.

thought the parking was terrible, not on site and expensive
