Dominic & Smart Luxury Suites Republic Square

I have stayed in over 20 hotels in the past two years and have not experienced the exceptional degree of hospitality and warm welcome that the Dominic offered. Every single member of the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay the perfect experience.

The hotel was so cute. They upgraded us upon arrival and the room was clean, had great amenities and the staff were super nice and helpful. The location was perfect. The only downside for me was the bed was a bit lumpy, my husband was ok with it but it was difficult for me to get comfortable. Overall though it was a great experience.

This property was in a great location, right on Obilicev Venac. You could park in the Obilicev Veac parking garage and walk to the property. The rooms were updated and modern. However, there are several things that were awful for us. There is limited signage for this property as it isn't a real hotel. It is located in an apartment building where there are private apartments. The property is on the 4th floor of the building and you have to either walk up 6 flights of stairs to get there or take a 100 year old elevator that doesnt have a door. On the 2nd day of our stay, my 14-year-old daughter was using the bathroom. She flushed the toilet and walked out and about 30 seconds later, the ceiling over the toilet crashed down and water was shooting out from the pipes. This could have killed her if she was still in the bathroom! I have photos and videos of the damage. There is no maintenance person on site. There was only a receptionist, who did the best she could to call for help. My husband had to end up risking his life by pushing into the bathroom and turning off the water valve. We didn't know if there was an electricity on or not. This hotel didn't even offer a refund for our stay. They said "Oh it isn't our fault it is the building's fault." This is ridiculous. I would never stay here or at any of their sister propoerties again. They are not safe, they leave the entrance doors open for anyone to enter, and they aren't even a real hotel.

The property did not look as nice as in the pictures. Air conditioner was not comfortable. In a great location right by plenty of restaurants.

Amazing location in the middle of everything... Rooms are nicely decorated and clean and the staff Andrea and Marija where extremely helpful with advice on things to do and see in the city.

Pidgeons on the roof/window areas making a huge noise, could not sleep. However, the rooms are nice other than that.

Don’t be put off by the modest entry from the street lift and not very impressive stairs up to the hotel . It is right on top of restaurants ,shopping etc . A supermarket 30 yards away everything very close at hand.The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms are great value for money plus strong Wi-Fi . This is an excellent Hotel for the price .

Really quality hotel/suites in the centre of Belgrade. The building itself is rundown but you absolutely don't feel it as soon as you step into the accomodation. Service was great and beds were super comfy. Everything I needed

A bit old apartments. Room side is good, since we took the larger room, which was probably the most expensive too. No justification for such a high price!!! Water from the shower is leaking to the whole bathroom from under the floor, the shower head from above is sending water in every direction, but very little to the direction of your head. This is not something that look like In anyway, anything like a hotel. Reception is tiny, and staff is there only from 8:30 to 22:00 We arrived early morning, had to wait outside for 3 hours. A Mimi-bar in the room is located under the table. On the table you will find a coffee, tea and one bottle of water. Only later to be discovered that all those are NOT free! The menu with prices is not visible! It is located on the fridge under the table. It should be visible on the table! Such an expensive room without breakfast and they charge you even for the tea-bag in the room. First time for me... Overall, the suites are a bit old, and service is minimal. Very much overpriced!

Everyone went above and beyond for our stay. Would definitely stay if we were ever visiting Belgrade again.

The location is perfect although you can’t sleep on the weekends because of the noise and music. My only issue was the the room was very small. There were flies in the room when we got in. They charge for everything even the water. My stay was good.

The best part about this hotel was the location. But still overall, I was very impressed with my Dominic Smart Republic Square Hotel experience. The staff was amazing, were easy to communicate with, and the room was nice, clean, and reasonably priced. If I return to Belgrade, I will absolutely stay here at this same location again.
