Cheonggye Haus

The property is great value for the price. The area is quiet. The rooms are big enough for one person and clean. The check-in process was contactless and seamless. The owner is easily reached via the messaging platform. The only downside is that the bed is quite stiff and maybe pose a problem for some.

The location was conveniently located and close to KMetro subway lines. It was really nice that my room had a small fridge and a small washer. Excellent value.

Great location....Easy set up

Very nice place! Will stay here again when I go back to Korea! Very close to subway stations and Gwangjang market is literally just around the corner! Only downside is they don’t have an elevator, but other than that it’s a 5 star for me!

Small room but ideal for one traveler. The location was great and host was very accommodating. I had a late flight so the host allowed me to check out later which I really appreciated.

The room is small but its clean and the location is very convenient. Near subway station and gwajang market. The owner is very accommodating and very responsive to my concerns/inquiries and above all very kind for allowing me to check out late. So i was able to rest before i go to the airport for my midnight flight.

I thought it was cute and a really neat stay. It is a place I would definitely stay again.

Had a really good time here. The location is great, you can walk to Myeong-dong and many other tourist hotspots in Seoul. The room was perfect for one person, there was even a washing machine. I did find the bed a little hard, but I slept well. It was clean too, except there was some grease in one of the kitchen cupboards. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Perfect location. Convenient but yet comfortable and quiet environment

This apartment is located right next to the Gwangjang Market where you can buy Korean street food for a very cheap price. It's also very close to the train station and bus stop. You can easily travel to Dongdaemun as well as other areas. It was very quiet at night so I was able to sleep well. The room was very spacious and had great water pressure (yes, great showers!) It comes with a desk, fridge, kitchen, and AWESOME front load washing machine (not like the crap top load washing machines you see in other hotels). You can watch all sorts of Korean TV shows for free. Before making the reservation, I had a number of questions to ask and Mr Lee (the owner of this apartment premises) responded very quickly. When I arrived at the place, he carefully explained how to get in & out of the building, how to request for amenities, etc. I ordered a number of things online as well which he was happy to receive on my behalf. The building doesn't have an elevator but it didn't impact me at all because Mr Lee carried my suitcases upstairs & downstairs. He was very kind and helpful. To conclude, I would 100% stay here again.

This is a modest and comfortable place you can rest after a long day visiting Seoul. It provided all necessary amenities you may need: clean towels, a small refrigerator, a washing machine, few utensils if you need one, and microwave in the hallway for common use. Room was clean and big enough for one person. My room didn’t have windows to look outside but it was fine with me. You can go to the rooftop at 6th floor to enjoy the view of the city at night. There were few chairs up there. Host was very kind and willing to help out if I needed anything during my stay. The place is located at the heart of the traditional market area (Gwangjang Market, Bangjang Market and walking distance to famous Dongdaemoon Fashion Center). Subway stations are about 3-5min away on foot and can find numerous bus lines nearby. You can find wide variety traditional Korean street food vendors in Gwagngjang Market.

I stayed here for 8 days and i really liked it. Room is small but cosy. There are free towels, TV , free wifi ,hair drayer , shampoo and soap , fridge and free laundry machine. It had everything i needed for comfort. The location is amazing and safe with 3 metro lines a walking distance away. The owner is nice and speaks good english and he will help you with your bags. I highly recommend this place.
