Hotel Kukdo

Highly recommended! 1) Great location! 2 mins walk to subway station [Green (line 2) and Purple (line 5)]. Limousine bus stop from-and-to the airport located just in front of the hotel. There's free shuttle bus drop-off to Dongdaemun, Myeong-dong area. 2) They have ladies-only floor. 3) A convenience store (Mini-Stop) located inside the hotel.

We loved our stay at the Hotel Kukdo! The room was clean and spacious compared to other hotels in the area, the housekeeping staff was friendly and helpful, and it was very walkable for many good restaurants.

Despite some minor downsides such as small thin towels and the bathroom showing a bit of age and wear, I would still give this 5 stars because it hits on the things that are most important to me. It has an actual desk area as opposed to a standalone table so you can keep your laptop charging while you work if needed. They provide free bottled water each day (2x Evian and 2x Sparkling in the Deluxe Double room I stayed in). Housekeeping cleaned my room promptly regardless of what time I stepped out. Airport bus dropoff and pickup are directly in front of the hotel. Subway lines 2 and 5 at Euljiro 4 is half a block away, and line 3 is available at Euljiro 3 station which you can even walk to via the underground passageway from Euljiro 4. Plus the Euljiro 4 exit 10 which is closest to the hotel has escalators. These transportation options alone make Hotel Kukdo a must-consider for any stay in Seoul. I only wish I could have had an option to pay for early check-in but was told it is unavailable (not sure if it was just for that day or if that's standard policy). But overall, very pleased with my stay.

I appreciated very much the people working at the reception. They are client oriented people.
