I stayed for 2 nights at the Shilla Stay Yeosu Expo. The location is perfect, just a 15-20m walk from the KTX station and right across from the water and the beautiful views.
The check-in was great! They actually let me into my room before 3pm - which seems unheard of in the rest of Korea (and Asia). I truly appreciated that. I was on a high floor and had amazing views of the waterfront. The room was spacious and very clean. I slept wonderfully for the 2 nights. Unfortunately the pool wasn't open but truth be told, I wouldn't have used it anyway. I did, however, make use of the laundry facilities. That was a great plus for me.
As a result of my booking I was also given a a free coffee voucher. That was really nice too. Speaking of convenience, there's a GS25 literally attached to the hotel. That is perfect for a late night snack or early morning departure.
Overall, the staff here make the place standout even more. They're very friendly and welcoming.
I highly recommend staying here if you visit Yeosu.

Our two adjacent rooms both had good waterfront views which was nice. We only stayed for one night but only downside was lack of nearby dining options in walkable distance. Otherwise it was a good overnight stay

Don't pay extra for breakfast here. It was a terrible experience. I had to wait in line for 30 minutes to get in for 3 days in a row and since I already paid for it I had no other choice.

It was at a good location but a bit far to walk to the Odongdo island. Although we didn’t mind the distance but the sidewalks are too exposed to the strong sunlight during the day. Other than that we loved the breakfast buffet and the view of the ocean from our room.
