This is a unique and fun hostel. The staff were so kind and helpful making being a tourist without language skills so comfortable.

El hotel bien, la atención buena, en general es recomendable pero otro huésped (no se quién) abrió el candado de mi armario (locker). Por suerte no había dejado nada de mucho valor dentro y no faltó nada (creo). Tengan cuidado !!!

Came back to this hostel after a while, few things have changed, on the positive, they got a much stronger and faster wifi, now it is usable for work without an issue. On the negative side the mattress was worn out and the doors slam quite hard, they have a small note behind the door to close it carefully but try to explain to your average hostel goer to be respectful, specially Australians, British or Americans, not a chance. The rest remains the same, I can't recommend this hostel for weekends if you want to sleep, it's more of a party vibe place, during the week is slightly quieter but they have to sort out the issue with the doors, they all have an arm closer but it's not properly setup. Prices have gone up but at least they still give you free access to luggage storage even after checkout, which is becoming increasingly rare. The staff are friendly as respectful as always.

I love the place

My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay there, and I am glad I got a chance to introduce her to the hosteling lifestyle that I so enjoyed in my 20s. Everything was perfect. From the helpfulness of the staff, to the cleanliness of the rooms to the comfort of the beds. I especially liked the spa after a long day of traveling.

That was a really good experience for me and ı recommended everyone for the cheaply and friendly and great location.

Late arrival around 1am but Miguel Angel at front desk was super welcoming and knowledgeable. I was impressed with to h that kind of welcome so late at night. Great location to go to the Rastro on Sunday morning. Very close to metro and 24hr market and easy walk to Puerta del Sol

Best location!! Clean and friendly!

The place is nice, the staff is friendly, it is a good option if you need a clean safe place to leave your things and explore the city, housekeeping and some other guests can be loud and noisy very early in the morning, we had a private room and did not have to share bathroom with anyone which I would very much recommend.

Great staff, clean facility

Had high hopes after reading reviews, but was very disappointed. The good: Great central location, 1-min walk to metro station, Lidl and Carrefour market, 5 mins walking to Plaza Mayor. Beds have blockout curtains, elevators in building. The bad: The noise. Guests come and go all night since there is a pub crawl every evening at 11pm. Drunk people don't respect quiet hours, slamming doors and yelling in the corridors. The fridge was disgusting. Food thrown everywhere on top of each other. My food was soaking wet and destroyed due to someone throwing their stuff with liquids on top of it. Also, on check-in the staff member told me they didn't have any reservation under my name. Took them a while to finally find it. Definitely a place for young party-goers. If you want to get some sleep, don't stay here.

It is a good choice for staying the night. It was my first time in a place like this. The staff was friendly but the hostel charges you the locker key of the luggages. Although I expected the room to be a little spacier. The toilet and bath room were also very small. I needed a bigger sink or shelf so as to put my things for as Long I used These rooms. There were only hangers. Overall the bed and sheets were clean, the curtain gives you privacy, the room and my 7 roomates were mostly quiet (I just met 2 of them, nobody bothers you) but you can imagine that in a place like that you Will hear caughing, Door opening and closing during the night, the lockers, the luggages that come and go! If you are a heavy sleeper you will be ok. The air condition was functioning perfectly giving the high temperatures but personally I would like to have a blanket too. The area around its noisy and messy but is a life saver giving its proximity to public transports. I would choose it again just for one night.
