ANT Hostel Barcelona

We liked the location, but we would have liked a free breakfast and a locked door like other hostels

The main lights stayed on well past midnight

The staff were nice, you can hear sverige that goes on pursue the rooms. The are felt safe and we very walkable also way access to public transit and many attractions. They do have roaches saw a baby one on my last night in the bathroom but they try to keep the area clean. The water kettle was frise it had never been properly cleaned based on the build up.

Excellent Service. Everything was clean, and I had no issues over the course of my stay. The only issue is that showers have a chance of spilling out onto the bathroom floor, but that’s just something to be conscious about.. not a big deal.

Great location, central to the park and arc, convenient dining and supplies nearby. My biggest critique is that they say the rooms are air conditioned, but this time of year they do not run it. This is understandable, but they do not run even the fan / ventilation at all, and so the room was warm and stuffy at night

It was small. The toilet ran the whole time. The room was split off with an open ceiling and had a set of 4 bunks in a room. They were tight. It made for loud times when groups were coming and going. The staff was mostly great. I say that since I didn't know anything about the kitchen and dining until almost the end of my stay. Location was great. I had no issues with sleeping or size of pods. There were kids and dogs. I knew what it was so i had no high expectations. It worked well for me.

Price and quality are good

Not a good place. If you want to have a good time, this is definitely not a place to stay.

Wonderful location near

This hostel was not as expected. We booked a 2 person private room but when we got there it was set up as an office cubicle. The bigger rooms were advertised as this but we thought we were booking a private room. This was not a big deal, even though with the price we were paying we expected better, as we have stayed in hostels with more people to one room before. The main issue I had was that the rooms did not have locks. There was a key card lock to the main door but each room did not have a lock and more importantly the bathrooms did not have locks. The toilet cubicles I’m pretty sure did but the shower was just a curtain and the door was like a paper thin door with no lock. This was quite concerning as two young female travellers but we stood outside the door when either of us showered. Definitely not recommended for a solo traveller. Not only that but the roof leaked our entire stay. The first night we noticed a dripping noise and when we looked down our floor was covered in water, we were told this was the air conditioning and there was nothing they could do about it. We were given towels to use to keep the floor as dry as possible and one of the workers came in to mop up the massive puddle but that was it. We were also woken up to construction in the building quite early that we were not informed about. Not the biggest issue here but the power saw at 8am was not a vibe. I’m not happy with the amount we paid vs what was provided to us. The staff and location are great.

So very Good!! Loved the place. Very clean. Staff was amazing 👏, very helpful. Great restaurants nearby. Close to the park and very walkable. I would definitely stay again!!

Was a very good stay , unfortunately, I got a room was someone who vomited all over the bathroom on my last night. The whole stay was good though , clean and quiet. Would only stay for a couple nights max though
